Hey Cole, you may want to look into the 2007 ECU, the head/piston and porting changed as did the ECU. Remember the ECU is also controlling the RC valve.

Get you a set of osu grips and they include the plastic throttle tube and it comes with multiple year model attarchments aaaand you don't have to worry with glue. The bike looks so sweet btw!

@Cole As far as the throttle tube goes, I just had this problem on my 03CR250. I ordered another OEM throttle assembly and the cam in the tube no longer was an issue and it bolted up.

Cole...... just go old school with the RC cover. Steel wool the cover to semi polish and paint the RC inlay black and once dried just remove any excess with some mineral spirits. That will look trick !

I sure hope that's not a Chinese Carb. You should stick with the stock carb for the 2007 cr 250 Mikuni 40 mm. 82 needle is all you need second to top. Sea leave 420 main 40 pilot Air screw 2 to 3 turns. Caster 927 36 to 40 to 1

minibikemafia for about 10-15 yrs. it’s always “don’t have it but we can get it ordered for you” I can do that and have it at my doorstep in a couple days. People buying from internet has killed local shop inventory, with reason.

Depends on what they are coated with and he is probably just painting the caps and braces probably not the fins, but I'm not sure there are certain types of paint that actually help dissipate heat. I have a SBC I'm building and the block is painted with a type of paint that actually has metal in and it looks like a metallic copper and it will help dissipate heat

Don't use the Keihin Carburetor, it's so easy to get the jeting wrong and loose power this way! Just buy a lectron instead -> bolt on -> max Power! No jeting ever needed again!
