Responsible!?! lol. They grind up plastic net wrap & feed it to animals that are entering the food chain, they give shots & drugs to animals that aren't sick which creates drug resistant disease, they haul equipment & hay bales down the road without strapping or chaining them to the trailer... Responsible farmers? No. Factory farmers? Yes.

Cole, I'm 83 years old, I was raised on a farm and I wanted to farm but I could not put together the resources that would make my dream a reality. I'm happy that you have this opporitunity, make the most of it. Your dad and your family are to be applauded for their support. By the way, I attended UTK and majored in Agri-Business and worked for several years in Ag related fields. At one time I was a Palco Livestock Equipment distributor in Tennessee and had a small beef operation, so I appreciate your Aeroquip set up!

Thanks, Cole, for stepping into the farmer boots. There has to be many young farmers who have the same opportunity you have to make a choice to be a farmer. They couldn't do better than look to you for an example of the rewarding experience. Hopefully, many have the same kind of coach and father who will encourage and teach them how to be farmers as Brian is for you.

As relatively new farmers, my wife and I were always looking for ways to do better. Little hints and advice from professionals made all the difference. We read books and watched videos to learn what to look for and we found Cole, Brian, Jeff, and Ellie and we were hooked. The information and advice that they provided made us better at making our cattle’s lives and health better. They are the type of people that made this country great in the beginning and their grit and sacrifice is what still makes this country great. We truly appreciate everything they do with their videos and with the food that they help to provide. Thank you Sonne Farms for all that you do!

What an amazing journey it has been for this family. We ae lucky to be able to look into a Sonne world and find ourselves at their table, even if it is being included in their journey in a virtual capacity. Brian has an accomplishment far greater than raising a quality productive herd, and that's no small endeavor He has raised an amazing trio of sons, Iam not sure if there are more, that deserve recognition for being the epitome of stewardship, honor and diligence. I personally feel very honored that these gentlemen allow us to view their lives so candidly. I never have to worry about my children or grandchildren viewing their content, as it doesn't delve into anything that may corrupt their constitutions. Thank you Sonne Family. Cheers.

HI You are doing just fine. I worked on family farms during summer vacations. I am 71 now and retired. A friend of mine started a small forty Acer farm when he retired and ask for some help. I have a great time helping out and working with the land and animals again. We have tried things some old and some knew. Some worked and some did not that is farming. I like watching you and your dad. Not only doing the work but showing what it is to work with the family and as a family. Teaching and knowledge not only come from schools. Life 's knowledge passed on works too. Some people will never understand farming. The smart ones will listen, think about it. They may try it and learn if it will work for them or not. It may also have to be modified some to work for them. Just keep doing what you do and let the farmers see it your way. Greg B.

Why would a 91 year old great Grandma watch what is going on out in South Dakota on a program of farming. She lives in a city but was raised on a 75 acre farm and remembers the 75 yeas ago when she rode on a combine in the farms wheat and oat fields% she helped harvest the corn, picked by hand and brought the cows up from the woods at milking time. She married and became a city wife living in many states. About four years ago she found a You Tube program that was about farming and has watched what has been going on in the Dailey life of a farmer and his son for the past four years. Why ? Because it is very interesting. She knows that if her dear dad were alive he would be watching the programs also. Loving the music put to the giant machines that now march down endless fields of grain bringing in the harvest or hay or what ever. I watch because good clean speaking people put on a program a family can watch and learn like Veggie Boys you can see honest hearted people doing good for their community and the world of people who watch them. Also to those who feel the animals are mistreated?????? They talk to each of the animals. “Hey ladies How are you etc. and the animals run after them and fallow them like little puppy’s. If they were mistreated you would not see this! If yo feel these animals are being mistreated the way Sonne Farms take care of them then be honest and quite biting in to the beef you complain about . Enjoy your food because of thegood farmers we have out there. just saying!

I saw a bumper sticker the other day that really summed it up: If you ate today, thank a farmer. That beef that is on that Quarter Pounder w/cheese didn't appear there by magic. Nor did the chicken nuggets and even that ketchup you poured on your fries. It all came from a farmer/rancher somewhere on this planet.

Sonne Farms are some of the best at what they do, small farms are under attack from things we can even image. Politics, world markets, the big 4 all affect small farms every day. Current Political models are hammering small farms, we have lost many in our local area just this year. Costs to produce have more than doubled, parts, fuel, taxes, are all up and many can't afford to be in business. Support your local farms anyway you can, You will be glad you did.

One of the best farm channels and farm families out there. You can tell that they care for their animals. Everything they do on the farm is FOR the animals. When I see how hard they work day in and day out in all sorts of weather, machines breaking, caring for sick critters, it gives me a whole new appreciation for the food on my table.
