Oh yes its hard to find skilled workers Its even harder to keep them I worked in a readymix concrete and block factory The profits was decreasing from 2011 - 2019 because of low demand, taxes and most importantly high government fees But we were profitable at least till upper management changed 50% of skilled workers to decrease cost Today they are loosing money and soon will close shop Its easier to demolish than to build

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. Small jumps only require small risks, big jumps take big risks. We can see alot of people who take small jumps over a long period of time do well. We also see people who take big jumps do really well. What we don't look at are the failures, classic survivorship basis. I imagine if you take this guy's advice your life has a very good chance to be fruitful and happy, you take some crypto guru advice or gamble your money you're almost guaranteed to fail. The most important advice though is just to try being a entrepreneur, the chances of getting hit by lightning are small. Right up until you decide to hike up a mountain in the rain. Remember that people.

Not worth it when you're not an electrician or HVAC guy. There are a few other trades that make okay money, but it's still barely worth the amount of back breaking work that's required lol.

They run things completely different as one actually has prior experience and can empathize with the people he gives orders while the otherone doesn't.

Man this is a great story, im an auto glass technician. I started from the bottom worked my way to one of the best technicians in my state. I make almost 90k salary and now im starting my business doing it. I literally started at minimum wage at petsmart when i was 18 and now im 29. Work hard, work smart and also make the right decisions on opportunities when they arise.

I know a guy (former customer) who made millions rebuilding and restoring trucks and running a trucking company... until he retired he almost everyday worked in the shop, getting his hands greasy because that made him happy... he had the brains and was able to put the right people in place to run the company so he could work with the boys.

I can relate. I started earning money at 15 and fortunately saved most of what I earned and kept that mindset. With those savings I built a couple of apartments to rent, then reinvested in more apartments, then business places and I kept going. I'm not as rich as this guy but my family and I are all set for life. We can travel and get anything we want. All because I decided at a young age that I was going to save like crazy.

Technical classes in highschool are awesome. Need more of those. I took electrical technology (electrician / electrical engineering path) and learned a lot. Got a summer job doing electrical work and gained valuable experience. I didn't choose that path, but it improved my understanding of how the world works. Kids need these practical skills and perspectives.

I was a very smart kid (went to top uni's and unfortuneatly became a lawyer)....in high school guidence counsler calls me down asking why I am taking auto and metal shop if I am applying to top schools....it will hurt your chances....my response...only classes I am learning anything
