In warm weather, wearing long clothing actually helps keep you cooler. You sweat into the cloth which holds it allowing the breeze to blow thru and cooling your body. Shorts and t shirts just allow to sweat to form and evaporate. And yes, my guess is that someone is eating for two. Sure hope so…..👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Chopped bacon. Fried in pan. When done pour off most of the bacon grease. Scramble eggs in remaining grease. Stir in cooked white or brown rice. Throw bacon back in. Serve with la choy soy sauce.

Happy Anniversary! That was a very beautiful area. A lot of people forget Iowa has some beautiful and historic places. The Ledges is another beautiful area to visit, but much more rustic accomodations. Thanks for letting us tag along. I love history as well. When my girls were little, we went to places and learned about everything. When we visited Oklahoma City, we went to the site of the bombing. It was a lot like the Vietnam Memorial. It was so quiet. I told my girls what had happened, and to be respectful. They did fantastic, especially when they realized what the small chairs were. They represented the children that were killed. I've never been on vacation without my kids. My girls would go to camp for a week, and by Tuesday morning, we both were having kid withdrawal 😊.

However, the fish, especially in smaller ponds, do grab the birds as they skim the surface. The barn swallow is particularly fun to watch. The fish 'go birding'. I know you missed Eddie.
