Bluegill stay under limbs and above water. brush catching insects coming off the limbs and hitting the water the shellcrackers tend to search underwater stumps brush for snails etc. you will catch shellcrackers on the stump, bluegill un the limbs, the closer branches are to water the better.

Go try the creeks off of the main lake! They tend to move back up in them. Usually can catch them by stumps and laydowns

LOL🤣 Broke my "right" ankle and have be laid up for 3 month now. Still another month or so to go. My friends keep going out and Doc recommended I don't. 1 slip and I could shatter it.
