Today we went back out on the lake crappie fishing in some deep water brushpiles. We were catching fish left and right, but then noticed we had a big problem...our boat was filling up with water and sinking! Luckily we noticed it in time and were able to take care of the issue before ending up at the bottom of the lake! Follow along to see how all of this crazy action went down! If you enjoy the video, smash the LIKE button and SUBSCRIBE to our channel so you can keep up with all of our future fishing adventures! Thanks so much for watching and we will see you on the next one!

What's inexcusable here is holding the fish by their jaws w/their entire weight pulling against the jaw! Damn it!...fish don't look any smaller hanging vertically than they do horizontally! Crappie jaws especially, are very delicate, & will BREAK easily w/this cruel & inhumane display......just so you can sensationalize your channel!

Yes we got Snow that day but the Sun came out and melted it all away the next day. The roads where clear where I live in Arkansas. It was cool to see the Snow though. About 3 inches. Another Cool Video Y'all. That's Arkansas you never know what the weather will do. Sunshine, Tornados 🌪, Thunder and Lighting Storms, Ice Storms and even Snow. I love Arkansas and I'm glad when I got out of the Military I saw Arkansas and decided to live insted of going back to live in California. On the Boat always Safety First good job Cole. Fishin in Arkansas is so great do believe me keep watching Cole and Jay's videos. God bless and keep on Fishin Y'all. Amen.

Hey you two... What a beautiful day on the water. I am truly envious of where you live. I've said it before, but wherever you live in Arkansas is just"stupidly beautiful". You said that you were not going to catch sixty crappie. Very smart. If you caught sixty then you wouldn't have any excuse to go again. Good planning. Getting ready for your next adventure already, I hope. Whenever my brother calls to plan our next Utah fishing trip, the first thing he says when I answer the phone is "Are you packed yet!". I always answer that I'm always packed. And, honestly, I am. My gear is always packed in a duffle so all I need to do is toss some clothes in and I'm gone! You are so blessed in so many ways... Beautiful wife, beautiful son, beautiful home. But, seriously, we are all blessed but too many don't know it.

Hi Jay and Cole; it's best to put your plug on the inside of your boat, because if it do come out, you want loses it. My and wife and I saved 3 folks that lost their plug that was put in from the outside of their boat. Be safe and keep fishing!🎣
@earlglover6091

I was told that but used the boat for years no problem. Adjust the plug correctly. My boat was hard to get to the inside and also if you don't put it in it is easy to put in while in the water. Always have two plugs.

Nice Video. Great decision to get the boat off the water, but you still need to determine wear the water was coming from. My bet is the water was overflowing out of the livewell into the bilge. I noticed the water in your livewell was really full, possibly overfilled, early on in the video.. I'm not familiar with your boat or it's plumbing, so I'm not sure what would cause that issue. Keeping a spare plug or two on the boat is always a good idea. I also don't know why boat manufacturers don't put auto float switches in all boats. Fortunately, it's a relatively easy addition. If you're not comfortable working on your boat's electrical system, the dealer where you bought it from should be able to add one. It's a $30 part for some added piece of mind. Keep up the good quality videos. Fish on!

Check all your through hull fittings sometimes they can come loose or not tightened at the factory. I bought a band new Bass tracker boat Got it out on the lake done the engine break in at Kentucky dam and shut it down to fish for a while I started the motor and started to take off and it was sluggish when I noticed water coming up through the floor drains the water all shifted to the back of the boat and we almost went under. I turned on the Bilge pump and idle back to the boat dock. I removed the inspection hatches and noticed water coming in around some of the through hull fittings. I got it out of the water and all of the through hull fittings were loose I could move them with my fingers. I personally don't think they vibrated loose I think they were never tighten at the factory because I've never seen nylon fittings come loose.

happened to me a few years ago with a 1985 Lund Tyee 5.5. a crack in the live well inlet hose was filling the boat. my daughter was 6 or 7 then and told me her feet were getting wet. we were on an excellent crappie bite too, but that ended our day of fishing right then. we loaded up and let it drain about 15 minutes and headed for home
