I've been watching the videos lately but was caught in a funk when I lost the washer machine and dryer, both went out a few days apart. Then when I went to go get new ones, I managed to lose the transmission in the car on the way to get both machines delivered. So 2 weeks I saved my money & then went yesterday and got a Jeep Renegade. So now with wheels, I can wet a hook again. Those white bass were really nice ones!!! Usually pretty good table fare when deep fried. I'm fixing to plan a trip to Lake Dunn and Austell. Got a great deal of new Divine swimjigs and Divine jigheads for my swimbaits, some Ned Dreds and 2.4 Stroker Craws in Mexican Spice. I will be rippin some lips this year!!! Snagged up a couple bills worth of 6thSense equipment. Especially some of the Crush Mini 25Xs in that custom gill color. That squarebill is going to rule the shores of Dunn!!!! Cole, dude I hope I get a chance to run into you on one of these bodies of water. Now that I have wheels again, I will be headed to some other places I haven't been to yet. Thanks for sharing. As always...much love to your family. Hope to see you soon

It reminds me of one our family fishing trips up in northern Minnesota. We couldn't catch anything but perch and the perch were so wormy nobody wanted to eat them, so we'd just keep throwing them back. Well except for my Aunt Oline, she got sick of taking them off her hook and started swinging them and slamming them against the boat until they'd fall off her hook, while saying every dirty word in the book. She made so much racket we moved to the other side of the lake. Though we could still hear her banging cussing a blue streak. Lol

Next time when you beer batter your fish, dunk your fish in flour first and that acts like a glue and the batter will not come off the fish it looks good I don't know what else you did to it to hold the batter to the fish but try the flower trick it does work love your videos and you are very lucky man for getting your boat lol.

Cole when fishing by your self get a launch line 10ft longer than your trailer, tie it to the back of your boat trailer then slowly pull out so that the end of trailer is at the water edge and walk the rope to the dock or beach your boat

Dang those shad are big!! Don’t have those up north here in Michigan that I know of. Saw river fisherman near DC fishing for shad once, in Potomac river years ago. Emerald shiners and fat head minnows are forage fish here. I’ve caught bass spitting out crawfish, bluegill, perch etc

As a teenager I tried kayaking in a slalom kayak that had a spray skirt so if you capsized you could roll it back upright and they are very tippy and can role easily. The kayak that most people use are the top ride type like yours. My brother did a lot of slolam races in the northeast Vt Pa, Ct starting in march when some rivers they raced in had ice floating in the water. I prefer rafting. At 63 there is no way I would be in that water.
