I love TCU football and I don't like making a video like this because it does hurt me. But I do think TCU might be past their prime in a competitive Big 12. Things are changing fast in college football and I think TCU might have hit their peak and it might be downhill from here? Let me know what you think down below!

Huge TCU fan, Gary Patterson was a family friend when he was in Albuquerque. My little brother was a walkon fullback who made the team through tryouts and ended up scoring a touchpad his senior year (real Rudy story) I went to every home game from 08-12 and went to the rose bowl and peach bowl. Let's be perfectly honest, the CFP got the top 4 teams right in 2014. Ohio State the only team that was really disputed at the time won it all. Florida State was undefeated at the time and defending national champions. You had to put them in. Oregon looked much better than TCU and got to the National Championship Game. Alabama was the top team in the country. Hate it for TCU, but under the CFP format of only 4 teams, they got the right 4 teams

When they are perfect, they will always be snubbed due to the fact that they're the second smallest college behind Wake Forest. Even if they spend several years being a damn good team, TCU will always unfortunately get the shaft & I've been a fan for 32 years.

I don't think its a population issue. Notre Dame has less than 1,000 more students than them and Baylor, Northwestern, Miami, Vandy, Stanford and Duke are all similar sizes too and I can't see any of them ever being snubbed if they got that far. Especially if they'd won every game of their season. I think the CFPC just messed up more than usual that year.

Good video man I live in ft worth and went to Baylor so found this one close to home. Liked the quick style and recap and maybe would recommend using a little more stats throughout. Good video, i think "downfall" is a little harsh, i think it would be more suited to have this video about UT, especially with TCU beating UT 4 of the last 5 years, but that's another video. You did kind of hit on what makes TCU tick, and that's QB play, without really good QB play TCU is a middle of the pack team, and that's been a struggle since Kenny Hill left, there has been no consistency at that position, mainly because the QB's have been Freshman. I'm expecting a bounce back year this year and for the next several years as the QB becomes more and more seasoned.

Fantastic video! Love that you found the Frogs. We don't get a lot of that, lol. It is frustrating to see the decline but I concur that much is based on simply not having a dominant QB and we usually don't have the 4-5 star recruits surrounding the QB to make up for mediocre QB play. BUT I grew up in the 70's and we would win 1 maybe 2 games each year so it's tough to complain. If you want to do a video on some really BAD Horned Frog football do one on TCU in the 70's! My dad went to TCU in the late 70s and early 80s, when they were abysmal. He went to one game vs Tennessee, and they lost something like 56-7. Every time Tennessee scored, their band played "Rocky Top,' and my dad says he still has that song ringing in his ears.

As a Cheerleader ('15-'19), here is a little food for thought: - Fan Support at games in person is horrible -- it's predominantly older people and students. It is much louder in stadiums elsewhere in the BIG 12. It's never really full or "at capacity" - Away games were even worse, especially games played at AT&T (Cowboys) Stadium. We had little turnout at very large away games like the BIG 12 Championship in 2017? Just glancing at the stands, you would quickly be able to see the huge difference between purple and the other team's color. - I think this year will be lackluster from losing Duggan to illness, Blacklock, Reagor, and others to the draft. Throw COVID into the mix and I'd put us at 4-6 this season but please for the love of god prove me wrong. @Cole Adams, I really enjoyed watching this, great job.

Attendance has always been an issue for TCU. TCU has always struggled to get residents of Fort Worth, with no affiliation with the University, to attend games. There is practically no mention of TCU in other parts of FW. Plus, when a university has a tiny student population in a city the size of FW, then it is difficult for them to make their presence known.

I've been watching your videos for a long time and even though things have been busy for me personally, I tend to binge a large amount of your videos when I have free time. I love TCU a lot, they have a history of some of the most dynamic and explosive offensive schemes in all of college football and probably the most interesting use of the air raid offense in college sports. 2014 specifically was an insane year and even though I grew up a die hard OSU fan from my parents, it broke my heart to see then snubbed. I think there is just too much politics in the college football committee that doesnt give smaller private teams more of a chance to perform. When they do, we can see the naysayers point to what happen to Notre dame and other teams to not give them a chance. It's a shame they haven't been as good recently and it also sucks to see the only news revolving them right now is about that controversy which dampens the rep of TCU as a whole. Great job on the videos man and keep at it, the format for the downfall is unique and I think you bring an interesting voice to the college football space. Us long time fans will continue to watch and I have a feeling that you will gain a lot more traction in the future. Keep on that grind and I look forward to your next video.

great re-cap of the team history. one area not mentioned ... Patterson’s constantly changing coaching staff, especially the OC position. The Sonny Cumbie/Doug Meacham pairing was very successful. Meacham left the program in 2016 to be University of Kansas OC and the offense has struggled. Meacham is back on staff but as WR, TE coach. Will be interesting how this pandemic season goes.

Solid video! Has TCUs recruiting gone up since joining the big 12 and being in a more competitive conference? For being a private college, reminds me a bit of the fan support of northwestern from the B10. Where it's not close to any other state universities in terms of the size of fan base. I know northwestern is campaigning around Chicago to improve the fan base, is TCU active in creating more fans and culture around the program? I attended TCU in the early 70's, went through the year the lost every game, and to see what Gary Patterson has done is amazing. The one thing I never understand, why quality players would rather sit on the bench at Texas, OU, or A&M, then play at TCU. I will add, TCU is committed to their athletes, they have educational facilities, and work with the athletes to see that they graduate, and I am proud of that. I think they’re just in a rebuilding phase. 2019 tcu was second in the country behind Alabama in the amount of starting freshman. Give us another year or 2 and we’ll be back challenging for the big 12 title

The video was really good. I don't really follow college sports all that much tho. I think what separates ur vids and others is other creators usually do deep dives n you usually do the story in a nutshell. Which is good, not every topic or story needs to be 30 min long.
