in this video I take apart the burn assembly and put it back together. During the video I said that the stove does not look like a 60's model I was meaning how clean and well it has been taken care of for all these years.

I own a Coleman 426D. The collection is in very good condition. Your 3 burner is also a good product.

Damn, I was waiting to see it have some funk in it, I don't know if it would help the burner rings in place or not, But if you can get a piece of pvc pipe or a can the same size to use as a jig to hold the rings from slipping would it make it easier ? Hell if I was you, I would run a add in in your local paper to rebuild those. it might be some extra cash and you enjoy doing it. The burners are looking a lot better for sure, Who knows someone may have went through it before and just had something just off a little or some residue that came off as you took it apart. Hell who knows. Pretty cool Brother.

@DJMoore-001 yea I was sure that was going to be something in it too, I was happy to see that everything looked brand new. IDK about running an add to fix them, if I did that and fixed them then it would be more like a job instead of a hobby and plus I would not be able to buy it as cheap then

@@Traillesstaken That is true, I am wondering how many people still use them, Since propane pretty much slowed these down to very few still use them. I understand the job aspect, I was thinking it could be a hobby with extra cash.

@@DJMoore-001 yea cash is always a good thing. Im just glad to pass along what little bit of know how I got so that others may soak in and use or if not at least know how to do something. So when are you going to tear into one of your and make a vid.? Just dont let the Coleman bug bite you as hard as it did me, I have cleaned that 425D so many times over the years can't believe it decides to jump up and bite me now LOL

@@DJMoore-001 yea I think the propane is what sent these units to the closet placed up on a shelf someplace.

@@Traillesstaken I hear ya, I am not sure when I am going to get mine and then clean them up. Since I got my Blackstone, I really never think about any other cook method. It takes up a little more space to take and I have to take it apart to set up. But shoot I can cook everything I do at the house, Clean up takes maybe 2 minutes and the only dishes are what you eat on. So there is no pots or pans. But I do want to get mine and make them run, Just to have going if everything keeps going the way it it. I would rather have back ups for my back up, As nothing. If you get a blackstone you will understand. They just make everything easier, And you don't spend the time cooking like with a wood stove or camp stove. If it works out and I get out there for Greyson I will bring it just to show you and Becky how much they change camping, I can cook everything at the sametime so it is all done at the sametime. I know if I only had one option for a bugout or camping, Hunting, Fishing trips I am loading my blackstone everytime.
