Oh yeah! One other thing, once it lights, turn the fuel valve all the way on and control the flame with the tip cleaner! Also, once you hear the fuel hissing, I would use a match or lighter instead of a ferro rod. Some of the sparks from the ferro rod might hit the paint and burn it! Thanks for sharing and the shoutout brother! 👍🏻

I will open the value all the way next time. I'll use a lighter next time as well. Thanks for watching brother

Mark it looks like you got flame. If it wasn't for the weight this would be an excellent backpacking stove. For car camping for one though these are hard to beat. Thanks for Sharing. This brings back a lot of memories for me Stay Safe. Look forward to some cooking using this now. Stay Healthy.

@@EatCarbs I love 502 stoves , if you can find a small bottle , like an eye dropper type, you can fill it with alcohol and put it in your pack, I drop about 6 - 10 drops Right dead center of the burner and light it . This will preheat the generator really good 👍 should only need it in cold weather. Now the stove will preheat on its own however with a muddy yellow flame on its own , the alcohol burns super clean , no soot. When the alcohol burns off , the 502 will take off like a rocket nice and blue 💙
