I've had one since June of 2021. Seems to be a sturdy dependable minibike..except I had to replace the recoil starter assembly it failed when I tried to start the bike this past spring. I found a direct drop in replacement from Hipa. Took me about 10 minutes to install. Final drive chain adjustment can be tricky there's a fine line between 'too loose' and 'too tight'. Better to keep it on the loose side rather than too tight. I keep the chains well oiled and put a few drops of oil on the end of the crankshaft on the outboard side of the clutch every once in a while. The owner's manual recommends checking valve clearance after 10 hours of operation but I've yet to do that it's about due for that the engine runs well and usually starts on the first pull but it has to be choked some for every start up. Regular maintenance is quite simple. Good tips in this video.

Converted My Coleman BT200X to NGK BE6ES non resistor plug. I use on my Honda GCX160 lawnmower Champion 3500 watt generator and Ariens 208cc snow blower. This makes these engines start on 1 pull unless sitting for 6 months then two pulls max. I also use B&S 5W-30 Synthetic on all these engines. Coupled with recreation grade non-ethanol blend gas with seafoam and these engines all run better than new.

Remove the jackshaft chain and see if it bogs without a load. If it does it's an engine issue, if it revs nice it's a drivetrain issue.

With regard to the amount of oil these engines take. I have three of these bikes, and I cannot get more than 16 ounces of oil in any of them, despite what the owners manual says. I called Coleman directly at the number supplied in the assembly booklet, and asked them. The person I spoke with had no idea and said nobody ever asked her that question before, so she asked the "mechanic" as she referred to him. According to her, the mechanic said 16 ounces is all the correct amount of oil for these engines.
@535tony6 жыл бұрын
I think it is important to change the oil after the engine is broken in to remove any metal pieces that might get in the oil during breakin. Then change at least once a year after.
