Coleman BT200X Mini Bike - 1 Year and 100 miles Review

We've owned this mini bike for a little over a year and go over everything that broke, held up well, and anything I'd like to see changed.

They're affordable and a lot of fun, but you do have to work on them to keep them going

I added a predator 212 that I totally put the stage 1 race kit on and it runs those Coleman so fast it's amazing

After just under 2 years with mine the only real problem I've had with mine is the brake shoes squeaking like crazy. I've cleaned the brake drum out more than once, but just broke down and replaced the shoes with some EBC 304G grooved break shoes. For under $20 if I was buying another one I'd just replace the brake shoes from the get go. I'm getting ready to add a go power sports stage 1 upgrade kit to it just to get a little more HP and to reach top speed a bit quicker. I actually bought mine for $600 shipped.

Good review. What's really nice to see is a Coleman left in its stock config. They work well for what they were designed to do and that's slow speed trail riding. Until last year I left my 2016 200U mainly stock and it was just as fun to ride as my other 200U with $600 worth of mods. It just didn't have as much low end and top speed.

For the price of the mods, a person could just buy a second bike, which in my situation would be the much smarter move.

They're definitely great in stock form for their intended purpose. The stage 1 kit is great for them though just to up the HP a bit and help get up to top speed sooner. I have no need to replace the engine, but might consider doing more to it if there was a billet replacement available for the plastic flywheel.
