If you are looking at getting a propane camping stove for family camping then look no further than the Coleman Classic Stove. This video is a Coleman camp stove review and features of the Coleman Classic 2 Burner Stove. This is the best Coleman camping stove and perhaps one of the best camping stoves of all time. This family camping stove is best suited to car camping. The car camping stove uses 1lb propane cylinders as the fuel source for the Coleman camping stove. The Coleman propane stove can run on high with both propane burners for 1hr on a single 1lb propane canister. The Coleman two burner propane stove is easy to clean and maintain with two removable burners. This camp stove is rugged and will take some abuse. The Coleman classic stove will allow you make favorite meals from home while camping.
There are a number of additional Coleman accessories you can purchase for the Coleman Classic Stove including the Coleman Stove Carry Bag and an adapter to allow you to run your Coleman propane stove off a 20lb standard propane tank. I bought one of these 3 years ago new in box at goodwill for $20, and it's been a really great stove for frying/cooking fish and keeping the smell outside. I make a HUGE mess, and like you said, it's super easy to clean up and get it stored away without any fuss. Thanks for the tip with the fuel line freezing up! The gas knobs can be a little finicky at super low heat, but that's really my single complaint. If the oil gets too hot in your pan, I'd recommend you add more oil to cool it down, if you don't want to mess with the adjustment knobs.

I just bought the exact same stove at Target for $36.62 after a recent freezing wind storm -15 F and power outage 12/23/22. I looked at many other stoves that had self igniters and other supposed features, but still chose the coleman classic 2 burner stove. The reason is that this stove is simple and easy to clean. The less complicated a thing is, the more reliable and the least mechanisms to go wrong. I also found out that if you DISCONNECT Propane bottle and one at a time remove the fuel adjustment knob screw. (in the off position) #2) remove the knob, then nut holding the stem/needle valve and put the knob back on W/out the screw. #3) then turn knob counter clockwise to remove the needle. #4) then clean off the factory grease W/ only a paper towel, then twisting paper towel to a point so to clean the orifice that the pin came out of. (No Q tips) #5) after that, replace it with a very Thin coat of Silicone Grease or spray to protect the O - rings/pin. #6) reverse the procedures to reassemble and #7) Repeat with second knob assembly ... and Voila ! The coleman classic now has fine tune burner adjustment. Video tutorial - [ Coleman Camp Stove Fix - How to Adjust Flames ] can be found on YT Really liked your video, it was very thorough and comprehensive.

I found 5 Coleman white gas stoves on Facebook marketplace and figured I should get at least one of them working with parts from the others. Hah all five work and they are dated 1969 to 1985 . White gas is really expensive but burns very clean and I found you can use unleaded gas in them which is far cheaper with the caveat that you need to clean the generator more often. Propane bottles are just dandy but they do have a limitation on temperature range. Too cold not workee! White gas just don't freeze.. So I will keep one and sell the others cheap because so many people like the convenience of plugging in a disposable bottle of gas , and we are a disposable society. Now if you happen to get a cheap white gas stove and wish to convert it to propane , there are parts available for that and under 50.00. Enjoy your camp outs.

Just bought one of these and had trouble screwing the 1lb propane tank to the regulator. It’s like the threads are different and it’s cutting the thread on the tank. I did get the same Coleman propane tank as you used. Is that a common problem with the tanks or a regulator issue? I did call Coleman and they have my problem on file, but I told them I would return the stove to the store I bought it from first to see if it’s the regulator on the stove I bought. I also plan on checking other tanks in the store just to see if it’s the specific tank I bought. If you or anyone has encountered this issue I’d appreciate a reply. Thank you very much.
@LoneCrowAdventures
@LoneCrowAdventures 2 жыл бұрын
More than likely it's the propane cylinder, especially if there was any rust around the threads. I've experienced some stubborn cylinders in the past. It doesn't happen very often. I can usually get them on there after messing with it for a few minutes. Only one time, when the threads on the cylinder was clearly damaged, was I not able to get it on. Good luck. Let me know how it turns out.

That's highly unusual. When you disconnect the propane is makes a hissing a sometimes a pop noise but then once it's disconnected it shouldn't keep emptying. You should be able to attach, disconnect and reattach the propane cylinder as many times as you'd like. It must have been a faulty cylinder.

Yes, especially when it's bright outside the flame can be tough to spot.

It will be much lighter. You can weigh then if you want exact amounts.

I despise those 1 bottles , they are super retarded expensive in Canada now, I thought 3.99 was expensive , I've seen them as high as 15.99 lately, then where do yo dispose them safely ?

Did you take your chickens camping with you? I guess that's one way to save on ice. Just butcher your meat as you need it. 👍

I don’t think this is the classic. The classic uses liquid fuel like white gas.

That's the white gas stove. I believe it's also called the Coleman Stove which is the original.
