Another well made informative video, except now I want 1, LOL. Glad to see a new post my friend, it's been awhile and I was starting to wonder if everything was ok with you. I was planning on heading your way tomorrow for a week fishing at ampersand brook and spending a few days in the floodwood rd area. But need to have some clutch work done on my truck so hopefully next week.

All is well, work has had me running. Ampersand has some good fishing. I have been trying to plan a trip around Axton Landing for a while but its always so packed around there I usually head someplace less traveled. I was at Round lake last weekend with a friend and the wind was brutal but it made for a private weekend. I'll be posting a vid from that and another trip as soon as I get time to go threw the video. If you do end up this way let me know, never know when I can get away for a day trip. Take care and thanks for watching.

Glad to hear all is well fredy, I'm lucky I was able to retire 15 months ago. Also glad to hear about Ampersand I haven't been there in 52years and was hoping it was still good, it was no problem catching 25 to 50 brookies a day when I was a kid from a inch up the I ever caught was 14 if I remember. Are there there still primitive sites along the road back to the old dam ?.

P.S. being retired i will be making most of my trips during the week , but I will definitely let you know when I head that way. I'm pretty sure it's just adjustment on my clutch and my mechanic has been a friend since I was 10 or 11 and he's been working on engines since we were early teens and opened his shop while we were in high school. If It is just adjustments I might be heading up Wed or Thur. ,I'll let you know if I do. If you would rather you can contact me at leftytikka@gmail.com. if you do you have my word I'll never pass out any information from you

@@michaelrehberg5198 Congratulations on what I am sure is a well earned retirement. Cant tell you much about the camp sites there. Haven't been there in a long time. might have to stop there next time I'm out that way.

Looks like I'll be heading up in the morning, I'm planning on leaving by 8am hopefully. I'll let you know where I end up, I want to check out a place I know on the raquette river by cranberry lake and then go check out ampersand and see if there are still some primitive sites.

I have this great tent! It’s held up well in the dozen trips the wife and I have taken so far. It’s the perfect size for us and the dog. Only 1 trip so far that we had problems. It was very hot and we did get cooked overnight in there. We would’ve taken the fly off completely if we could, but we were in a crowded site at the time and needed the privacy 😉

Lol, It's definitely a warm tent with plenty of room for "activities". Thanks for watching.

great video! Is there a way you can set it up fly first so if it’s raining the inner doesn’t get wet?

Thanks for watching. No, the outer is not free standing.
