That should probably be left as-is and put on display somewhere. I'd be unable to resist lighting it, but I'd certainly baby it. Great find!

You have a room full of rare and expensive items.. well at least to guys like us. To some unused ones are the grail. I like to use the old ones more… but I am not going to sell them.. very cool but I just like using them. Enjoy

As a collector that actually uses the items I collect I am very torn on using unfired GPAs …. I certainly appreciate them and think at some point they will be used. Thanks for your comment !

Thats a great find! I would probably light it using a compatible tank and generator but not cook with it. I have a Rinnai 3 burner stove from the 60s that is unfired in original box I will fire up at some point. Very curious about the spotlight behind the stove. That is very unique to say the least:) I collect old outboard motors (as well as Coleman GPAs) and have an unused mint1967 Johnson 3hp folding motor with its own case. It will never be used as long as I have it. Thanks for sharing the video as well as getting a glimpse at a wonderful collection.

Collecting outboard motors would require alot of space…… I do like them though. The Tilley spotlight in the background also has a tripod stand ….. fairly common to find. Thanks for watching…… and I do plan to light and use this stove. It will last my lifetime and with care it will still look good. More enjoyable to use something others don’t or won’t…..

Thanks for the Tilley information. I have actually slowed down on collecting outboards since I am retired now and can devote more time to restoring those needing it and testing out on a boat I restored. Enjoy your new old stove:)

@marksmith9295 Are you posting your outboards on youtube ??? I would think you would have a substantial audience….. including me.

There are a few outboards i have posted. Also a few pics of Coleman 975D cabin stoves in the community tab. The silver one i restored 2 years ago. It was in rough shape and i wanted a change from Hunters Green color. I use it alot for cooking in the summer.
