Thanks for the video, that was helpful! Those sewn in instructions were overwhelming. 🙂

Hey buddy. I have been watching this tent for a few months now. With camping season in full swing I came back to check on the reviews. I was probably going to pull the trigger and buy it, but now, after watching your review, I am most definitely going to purchase this tent.I have watched many reviews on it and not that production quality on a review is the number one reason to watch said review, it did make me click off most of the babbling, shaking cameras and bad quality audio I had run into. You and a few others stuck to the point and gave an honest good review of the product. You did and excellent job and my wife and son with thank you once we use our new tent. Thanks again and keep up the good reviews.

Kelly, thank you for your kind words! We really appreciate your feedback. We will definitely keep getting the reviews up. I know that when I make a purchase, I rely on honest reviews online, usually via youtube to help me decide. Just trying to return the favor. I'm really glad we could help you out!

Hi, Does this tent come with the lighting system? I read the product description on the amazon link you provided and I don't see it listed. I have seen some other posts about this tent having a lighting system. We are borrowing this tent and if we like it we'd buy one for ourselves. Thanks.
@WeLiveALot5 жыл бұрын
Hello Isabel, the tent we purchased does come with the dome light that is battery powered. Personally, even if it didn't come with the light, I would still want it. I would just hang a small battery powered lantern from the ceiling.

I have the same model tent, but the windows, poles and color scheme are different. I wonder which one is the newer version and if there are any other differences? I just purchased mine this summer, so I'm not sure what to make of that.
@jlsmutek7 жыл бұрын
Mine also has less pockets on the inside, so I'm figuring that you have a newer version.
@WeLiveALot7 жыл бұрын
That's a great question. I'm not sure which model mine is, but I did also buy it this past Spring. When I get home, I will see if I can find the actual model #, and if it's different than yours.

I think you have the lighted version and I have the version without the lights.

I bought this tent a couple of months ago & can’t wait to use it. The backyard set up went well. It was available in 2 different colors at Walmart.com so I don’t know that it is a new and old version. I don’t have the hanging light on my version.

I've been looking into this tent for a while now, among many, and I'm absolutely certain that this is the one I want. However, the main complaint seems to be the tent poles being too tight and seams ripping easily. Was this a concern or problem for you? My boyfriend and I want to actually live out of it for a few months so its important we make the right decision with our budget
@WeLiveALot7 жыл бұрын
Well, we have used it several times this summer. One of the times we used it was for a week straight. The poles are pretty tight, but the seems didn't seem to be giving out in any way. I can honestly say I have personally not had a problem with that happening and it doesn't appear in any way when the tent is up that the seems are going to be giving out. I can say that it is a pretty tight fit, but it never gave me the impression it would tear the seems. We have not lived in it for a month or months at a time however. So I can't say for sure how it would hold up in those kinds of conditions. Especially if it were windy or stormy. We did have one really windy and rainy night. The tent held up well, and we stayed dry. I hope that is helpful! Thank you for your comment and question!

Can it fit 2 queen air mattresses inside?
@WeLiveALot6 жыл бұрын
Yes, you should definitely be able to get 2 queens. And still have some extra room.

Excellent review. Did you apply any waterproofing to your tent? Did have to do any prepping the tent before using?
@WeLiveALot5 жыл бұрын
Nope, we didn't do any waterproofing. We have been using it straight out of the box without any problems.

I'm glade I bought the Phoenix tent when I did. The tension that those poles are putting in the corners is pretty bad and I don't exactly like but the whole roof pulling system is all one system. I'd be interested to know in the longevity of that tent I've had mine so far for 4 years and I can't complain about it.
@WeLiveALot6 жыл бұрын
We will be putting it to use for our second year. If anything breaks or snaps on it, i will be sure to report it. So far it's been great, but we have only had it for one year.

Since the rain fly doesn't cover the door, when it's raining and you open the door, the water just rolls in and on the floor. How did you address this?
@WeLiveALot6 жыл бұрын
Hello latenhart, we never had this problem when we used it in the rain. The water rolled off the fly and never pooled anywhere. So when we opened the door, the only water we had to worry about was the rain that was coming down. That's typically easy enough to avoid as long as no one stands there with the door open.

How many twin mattress can u put in the tent ⛺️????
@WeLiveALot6 жыл бұрын
We had 2 queens and a large float floatie in there at one point. You could probably fit 3, with some room to spare.

We Live A Lot with 3 twin air mattress. How many sleeping 💤 bags 💼 can u fit with them ???
@WeLiveALot6 жыл бұрын
We had 6 in there if I remember right, but there was a lot of room to spare. We probably could have fit 2 more in there if we needed to. When we as a family sleep in there, we never use the full room, we use the other half for storage. I'm guessing you could easily fit 6-7 full sized adults. Depending on the size of the adult, maybe 5-6 if they are larger.

Thinking this is the tent I want for our first camping trip with our small boys 5 and 1. I found it cute how your son asked if you're filming a "bee-dee-o" because that's how my 5yr old pronounces it 😂
