It made me smile to hear that you really enjoy the time you share in the mornings to talk to your dad. As you said, he will not be around forever, and you often get busy with projects. The time you spend talking to him is time you will never regret. Stay safe out there and wishing you a fruitful harvest.

There should always be time for family and friends because the times you say no not today are the days you regret once they are gone. I lost a good friend last year and I’m grateful for every second I spent with them and they were only 24 when they died

There were 14 of us kids , and I was next to the youngest . My Dad was killed three months before his 70th birthday , and I was 22 . He never got to see mine or my younger brothers kids or grandkids . I was devastated when it happened . I'll tell you , as I sit here writing this 43 years later , I just started crying all over again , it never goes away . I tell my wife , my kids , and my grandkids how much I love them every time I talk to them , because you never know when God is gonna call you home , and I don't want it to go unsaid how much they mean to me . Love you Cole , and don't forget to let your beautiful family know how much you care for them 🙏❤️🚜🇺🇸

I have 2 boys, age 26 and age 22. The 26 year old has Autism and still has to live with us. I thought of him when you were talking about soaking up knowledge. With Autism, hyperfocus on certain topics is common. Instead of video games, he spent his time studying facts about animals, all kinds, past and present, sea and land. He struggles with basic math, but is an encyclopedia when it comes to animals. He is struggling to find his place in the world while his little brother/best friend is living in Japan and deployed with the military. It's amazing how different siblings can be! I do have a parenting tip because both of our boys say they had a wonderful childhood. Instead of spending our money on "things", we chose to spend our money on adventures. They have been white water rafting in Colorado, parasailing in Hawaii, dog sledding in Alaska, and many other trips to visit family, etc. There were sacrifices......... used cars, flip phones, basic clothes, basic toys..........but it was SO worth it! I'm glad you are treasuring family time already. I'm really proud of you and Hneiva!

Two really important lessons that most people never get. Quality time with family, they won't be around forever. Put yourself in the other person's shoes and try to understand their point of view, you don't have to agree, but must respect them. Most people fail to do that.

Great video Cole, treasure those talks with DC & Edward as we all know tomorrow is never promised. You can see the bond you all have going back to DC & Grandpa Ray. My Parents divorced when I was around 5-6 and I never got to know my father before he passed when I was 17. I was luckier in that his Dad was the person who I believe had the biggest influence on my life before he passed when I was right about your age. Following you for the last few years puts a smile on my face and a warmth in my heart watching the entire Cornstar family work and live in unison. Now at 62 I reflect on watching how close you all are and how well you all work towards a common set of family goals. As Always Thank You for bringing us along on your journeys. God Speed this harvest and may it be a bountiful one for the Cornstar Family.

Great video Cole! My sister and I are the only ones left from our family of origin! Missing 2 brothers and mom and dad. I have my own family w 1 son who is married now and my hubby and I are retired and living in our home. I miss family all the extended parts as I moved from Texas to Australia to work over 30 yrs ago….but I enjoy watching you all and know how blessed you are to have mom, dad,Summer, Cooper Hnevia and little Edward and one on the way. Don’t take any of this for granted. Things can change so fast. I wanted to ask about the parts of your bin set up that are real problems and unsafe. Did you guys ever get satisfaction from installers? I was pleased to see the way you made the ground better with stone etc and so your trucks and farm equipment would have safe places to drive and turn etc. Well done.😊

For a young man, you are very smart. Not all young people understand until it's too late, that the time you spend with your Mom and Dad is limited. You don't think about that until they are not there anymore. The same goes for the other people you love in your life. The people you love are the most important thing there is, over everything. Give of your time, even when you think they ask too much of you or too much of your time. It will never be enough, but give it all. The love of your family shows every time I watch a video. That is a blessing.

I love they way you think , about everything . The problem is communication. Some people don’t wanna hear the other persons view. I’m like you I’ll listen but, it doesn’t mean I have to agree with you. It also has to do with where you live and what’s important to you . I live on Long Island New York close to fire Island, out here., We are more on the conservative side with family values. In the city New York City it’s different.

If the state did a signage project on that road, the sign may have been relocated a few feet. If they’ve done any roadwork within 20 miles or so, the signage along the entire length might have been reevaluated (target practice, rusty posts, faded signs and accidents are just a few things that cause this to be occasionally necessary on most roads).

Same. I think his brand of populism is meant only to build a profitable audience. But as a professor and long time subscriber I think Cole has a solid head on his shoulders and I completely endorse learning as much as possible about EVERYTHING. Especially about the things you disagree with and why one disagrees with them. One dimensional, shallow comprehension does you no favors when confronted about WHY the beliefs you hold dear are worth believing in at all. And it’s always best to know all sides of an issue if one is to have any confidence in the beliefs one cherishes. Then one will be well equipped to defend them.

I am the same way, Cole. Very curious of the way the world works. But you will be well into your 30's when you become half my age. The conclusion I keep coming to as I get older, the more I know but the less I understand. But I feel like the real answer is that family is above all what you know and how the world works by way far. When you don't have family, greater the chances are that you pass on alone. And this I know *and* understand. That is the only "ways of the world" that you need. Don't stop your ruminations. They are reassuring to everyone here.

When turning into a very tight area. Pull past about 1/2 to 3/4 of the trailer. Turn your steers to the way you want the front of the trailer to go and back up this will place the front of the trailer in the direction you want to go. BUT don't back up to far. When you get the front of the trailer started going where you want to go. WATCH YOUR FRONT SO YOU DO NOT DRIVE INTO THE DITCH. You may have to move the front of the truck more into the corner. I learned this unlading with a extended hood Pete and a 50 foot Tempte with deep hoppers and 96 inch side walls. I know it's a LOT of monkeying around. Have you ever thought somebody moved the sign??

You are "basically" limited to transmit distance by the power your radio is designed for, A good antenna can help. In my experience, a really good antenna (height, "wave", brand and the quality of coax cable) can make a dramatic difference in your reception of other stations. Another component of the equation is what it is mounted on. A sheet steel roof on a vehicle is far better that a plastic or fiberglass roof...

You all have your proper GMRS licenses to be using that 50 watt, GMRS radios, right? You can use CTCSS or DCS so that you don't hear other people. If you go to your most centrally located property, you could put in a repeater, would also really help if you wanted to use handhelds.
