I've noticed by her movements that she is actually trying to write the Japanese symbols for the words she wants to say. All Japanese symbols have a correct stroke order, so it's possible to follow.

This was really powerful up until the subs just said baka when it should've been stupid or something That being said, this scene really got to me...even though technically the title spoiled me and I just said "fuck it I'll watch the whole thing anyways now"

As much as I dislike the anime adaption of Tales of Symphonia, I have to give credit to the artstyle, OST and they get SOME scenes right. Just not the majority of it because cutting down a 50+ hour long game into 12 episodes isn't gonna work well... especially if you ruin alot of moments like the party first meeting the main antagonist in a fucking mine instead of the originally used tower of salvation. Heck even the Kratos fight isn't even shown, and that one was legit important! (Not talking about the 1 on 1 fight between Lloyd and Kratos)
