i always thought it must be really difficult to vlog and edit every day, make short films with other youtubers, meet up with campanies etc. - so maybe the kids are kind of overchallenged with all this stuff around. but now i hear katilette talking about their everyday life i get the impression that this family truly is the best i know of. it makes me happy to see a happy family because my parents/relatives/good old friends live far away. thanks for sharing your life with us

Mommy Tard, Collette, Katilette... I can't believe I'm only discovering your channel now. Can you say addicted?! I too am a mommy of four... with a loving but super silly husband. Our children are 4.5, 3, 1.5 and 3 months. It gets LOUD and crazy in our home... thank you for the inspiration you've given me! You are absolutely beautiful inside and out! As a mom of 4 as well, I can totally understand your predicament with meals! Something that I do every week is talk to the kids/hubby and get ideas from them about what they'd like to have for dinner/lunch or whatever. They give great ideas, whether its tacos one night to pasta the next- it'll help you a lot to just write it down somewhere and then take it with you when you shop :) That way, you know you have what you need in the fridge and makes it all go faster.

katilette I have a 15 year old son a 13 year old girl a 11 year old boy and a 2 year old girl. I am also 6 month's pregnant with a girl and a boy, but the problem is I am 32 is that to old? also is 6 kids to many for a working wife and husband with older kids and a toddler?

Make a menu for your families dinners! Thats what my mom has done since I was in Elementary school (14+yrs). It works really well, because every Sunday we all sit down and decide on what meals we want to have for the next week, then that night go to the grocery store to get the stuff to make those meals, and then have no excuse not to eat AT HOME! You should definitely try it! Especially with the kids... it will be kind of fun for them, & they will feel more important because THEY get to choose

Ive started doing the 20 min a day with my kids to, and they love it. Its nice to get to hear what my son is doing in in kindergarten, and I love to listen to my daughters little stories, the 3 yr olds mind is a crazy thing lol

Tip for cooking at home more! I pre-chop a whole mess of vegetables and freeze them in little individual servings (onions, peppers, ect) That way when I need them they are already cut, measured and ready for use.

You should try getting a slow cooker, if you don't already have one. My house is crazy busy but my mom gets all of the stuff chopped and ready the night before and then in the morning, she puts it all in the slow cooker. By the time we're ready to sit down for supper, the meal is already cooked and waiting for us. You should get the Canadian Living Slow Cooker Collection recipe book off of Amazon too. It has AMAZING and really easy recipes.

this week i did that too, i unplugged from the social media and hardly even used my phone (which means i missed a few sub calls...) because my parents and my brother and his gf were in town and it was great! i didn't miss it at all! we got to spend time playing silly wii games, going to the beach, playing poker, going out, and just being real-life people. i highly recommend it! and i did it even before watching the video! i'm just getting caught up now that they're gone ;)

I think it is great that you use the "Tards" I remember in middle school I had one teacher who threw a fit if anyone used it as a derogatory term, because really that's rude and not even a correct term when used in a derogatory manor. Its nice to see it in a positive way!!!

I'm glad you told the story about the Tards. I have to admit, I was pretty upset when I first found the channel. I thought it was so cruel for Shay to call his kids that, and I just didn't think it was right. But it really grew on me as well, and it's really fun! I have to say, Babytard is my favorite. What I do to help be prepaired for dinner is make a weekly menu. Before I go grocery shopping I write down the meals for the week, then in the morning I know what meat I need to set out, and I know I have everything because I made my shopping list off of the menu.

I don't have children of my own but I have 2 younger brothers who are 9 and 12. They love it when my boyfriend and I take them places because I don't live with them and don't always get to see them. We've taken them to the movies and the zoo and all sorts of places. You should spend a day with the kids going to some cool places. Our zoo offers a lorikeet feeding activity which is a fantastic experience for everyone. If you don't know what that is theres a vid on my channel of it.

Me and my siblings, my boyfriend and his siblings, my twin's girlfriend and her's siblings sat around in the forest (so thats about 10 kids ages 7-16) and made a huge get together. All of us have parents that dont pay enought attention to us so we just made this "Getaway" place. It was amazing

Hi Colette, I don't know how you do the shopping, but I always buy 2 or 3 (healthy!) dinners at the time. Partly because I don't want to be running to the store every day and partly because you feel guilty if you don't end up eating it! So I almost never eat out ^^
