I just need to tell you that you are an inspiration. You have 4 kids, a flamboyant husband, a big move, and a house full of friends/family, and you always seem as though you are in the best mood, and you always look fantastic. I can only hope that when my fiance and I start a family some day that I can be half the mother and woman that you are. Your upbeat mood does inspire me to stop, when I'm having a not-so-friendly mood, and try to refocus and try to flip my mood around.

I could be so much more focused on my little man and it doesn't have to be that big of a deal. Like you said just kicking a ball or watching a movie but being completely present. Katilette, you are like a second mother to me. i cried when you said that you would spend at least 20 minutes with your kids everyday. i wish my parents would do that to me but its hard because they're always busy doing something either its cooking, or driving us to activities, or working. i tried to tell my mom that i wanted to spend more time with her but she just yells at me for always making me mad. i'm just so glad that you take the time to do that to your kids.

I'm with you. It's tough sometimes because you feel like you have to accomplish so many things in one day that you can easily forget to take that quality time out for your kids. I started the same thing yesterday! I will now be putting my phone away so my son can have some mommy time without my side kick. The answer is yes... more kids are coming, or at least one more is. I don't think you should stop at 5, maybe wait 5 years or so and then have a couple more, so they will have each other to grow up with and so you will still have more babies to raise when the other kids get big. I had 4 and I spaced them out 25, 22, 18, 14 and now I wish so much I would have had two more, that would be elementary ages now. I stopped because people judge big families. I should have done what I wanted.

I'm happy you have your own channel now, because as much as I LOVE Shay, sometimes I want something a little more relaxing :) That being said, the camera cuts every 5 seconds are very, very distracting and not necessary at all, you're interesting enough without all that :)

It's funny how this works with kids. My older two are teenagers now, and I find that they tend to open up when I'm not purposely focusing on them--like we'll be driving in the car, and all of a sudden they'll start talking. But my little one, well... she wants attention all the time. And whenever I'm gone, she plans out a whole list of activities for my husband to do with her, whether he wants to or not! I think she will be a cruise director when she grows up, LOL.
