This might be my favorite J&R moment, I have been a fan of them forever even when Jason was a Q but this was the moment. It showed Jason’s devotion and love for Robin. But it also showed to Carly who ugh never been a fan that Robin was the one he wanted not her

Actually Jason was just being a friend to Robin. And yes he cares about her but he didn't do that because he was "in love " with her, he did it because he was a friend and Robin needed a friend .....not a boyfriend but a friend. Someone to stand up with and for her.

@@sherryoneal1740 um sorry did you miss the whole J&R story? Yes Jason was in love with her. Robin was his first love and his has since said she taught him how to love. Yes maybe in this moment she was not ready and they were friends but this moment is where we knew it would lead to further.

@@avsfan73 Jason has always said he loved Robin and she taught him how to love absolutely. But he never once said he was in love with her and if I remember correctly Sonny asked him that on more than one occasion and he kept answering I love her so there's your answer. They were NOT dating at this time remember? Also if you remember when she had a Frank conversation with Patrick about why Jason means so much to her, she absolutely 100% explained how she felt when Stone died and how Jason helped her and how she helped him because they were unbridled new friends without hiding anything or keeping anything from each other. That's what friends do. ( except no sex) If she would have went into a little more detail than I think Patrick would have understood a bit better but even she says they were better friends than lovers. They were together such a short time because busybody Robin couldn't keep her mouth shut about Michael's true paternity and completely obliterated her relationship with Jason. They still remain friends today but that is definitely what turn the tables on Jason's feelings toward Robin. That's why I say he was never in love with her because if he was he would have never left her and he would have understood what she was trying to do. If you only love someone it is much harder to forgive that person then if you were actually in love with that person and finding it incredibly hard to stay mad at that person. Jason was mad at Robin for a very long time. I bet they only had sex a handful of times and never really had that boyfriend girlfriend I'm falling in love with you type of relationship because of all the boundaries. I'm not putting blame anywhere I'm just explaining the story as it was written. I could be right I could be wrong but this is my opinion and I'm allowed to have one LOL as is everyone else. But this is what I understood from the way the story was written. I mean I don't even think Jason was in love with Courtney I think he loved her but I don't think he was in love with her. I absolutely do believe that he was in love with Sam then hated her for a Time and then they got back together after a bit but I do believe Sam has always been the one true love of his life. She was the only woman that he has ever connected with on all levels which is why it was easy for him to fall in love with her. She was the only woman that ever accepted Jason 100% for who he was and never asked him to change until recent years. And the only reason why that story was written that way was because of the actress that plays Sam, Kelly Monoco , no longer got along with the actor Steven Burton and their scenes suffered years because of that and since Mr. Burton has left the soap, you can see the acting difference change back to the way she used to act and speak her lines. How do I know this you ask? I have read several articles of each person and from behind the scenes interviews of other people that were on the soap that explained it as well not to mention a few others behind the scenes that remained anonymous leaked a lot of personal details but it is absolutely clear when you see it on screen anyway. It's such a shame that Ms Monaco couldn't remain professional during that time that Jason Morgan came back to the canvas for the 7 years that he remained before moving on yet again. Those two characters will never be together again. I really liked Jason with Britt anyway. Liz was always in love with the idea of being in love with Jason. Remember when the Russians kidnapped Jake and why and Liz finally realized that Jason was her drug of choice and she decided then to choose her kids? Courtney wasn't even 100% honest with Jason and hid things from him but he did love her but I don't believe her was in love with her because she couldn't accept his job in the mob even if it was working for her brother. Sam has always been the exception to that rule. Again Sam is the only woman to 100% except Jason for who he was and never tried to change him and I'm talking after they got back together after their I hate you period. Lol. I think it takes a strong woman to go back to a man who threatened to kill you and feel safe with that person 100%. LOL I still love watching those scenes. After Jason and Sam had kids I didn't like their relationship at all because that was really the be all end all of what Sam has always wanted, a child with Jason. They were just I think the world's most tortured couple and never had a real chance because of outside forces. They did great until death separated them. Somewhere in there Ms Monoco changed her attitude and storylines suffered badly when Mr. Burton returned and the magic was lost. But Robin was just a mere blip more or less a stepping stone for Jason period. I'm just happy that they still are friends today even though he is presumed dead.

@@sherryoneal1740 fair enough at this time they were not dating but they do eventually and I believe this was the moment they triggered it. They both went on to fall in love with others but Jason Morgan learned to love because of Robin.

I always wondered if this was the first time Carly found out Robin was HIV+ & the look on her face not only showed jealousy over what Jason did for Robin, but also thinking (while not true at the time) if he's having sex w/me & her.....she might have been upset for her own well being.
