My nephew and his wife live a couple of miles east of down town on a lease. In one of those "Instant condo towns". Reminded me of the British 60s TV show "The Prisoner". There's a down town in the development. I asked him "What happens if you try to leave?" He said "A giant ball come out, roars and envelopes the person and drags them back". He works from the condo. The job is by Dulles in that big company that has multiple buildings there. He has his government security clearances. He doesn't have to go in. She works at a hospital that didn't exist a couple of years ago. They want out. Like out/out of the area. Probably 200 grand in income between the both of them and they believe this place is a hellscape. He says he can earn his income from anywhere without getting hurt for advancement by the company. I'm not so sure, but I don't have to live his life. There's nothing authentic about his area. Running in place with a 6 figure income to just make sure that you can stay in place is for suckers. Everyone is in the same situation, and no one is friendly. I guess more money can buy friends. Yeah, they could afford more, but they don't see any benefit to this area.

No thanks ! They can have it all out there ! As an average American Joe, None of those pros you mentioned are encouraging for me to go live out there for that fortune housing market 😮 ! By the way West Virginia is near by Leesburg and way much cheaper for same life style witch is not including night life ….. i personally rather living anyway where in fairfax county and it’s still not going to cost me that much for a house comparing to Leesburg ! You should mention the EZ pass tool road fees rate that’s extremely pricy ……

See my comment. I visited my nephew last April. We took a ride into WV. Just crossing the border seemed like we escaped prison. I get it, that you don't "Amenities" there. And you'd be living among "Those" people. I'm one of "Those" people even if they probably would call me a Yankee. Leesburg is a fake Disney World. I could afford some of those property situations without batting an eye. I'd feel stupid if I did. Also, would you really trust the school system to protect your kid from sexual assault? The KZbinr talks as if this area hasn't been in the national news for a few years and there's no such thing as kids. I doubt the "Ballers" and the ones with horse ranches and wineries are sending their kids to public schools.
