Sadly I'm not a Dean Martin singing style fan with that warbling vibrato style. Great with Jerry. Jerry needs a straight man to bounce off, literally. When he went solo embittered he had to do his own straight man & it just didn't work as he just got so cynical.

First time I watched this was about 6 years ago, I was 15 years old. Rewatching it now and I now understand the "You're the guy that gave it to my camel in the back" bit HAHAHA!

Wow! This was a surprise, watching Dean Martin singing a cover of the late Hank Williams' posthumous song, "Your Cheatin' Heart". This episode of "The Colgate Comedy Hour" should have been released on home video, and not shelved because video distributors did not want to pay Hank Williams' estate the copyright fee for the song.

Dean does a nice version of Cheatin' Heart, with a great orchestra arrangement . "Oh thank you father of a new nose" lol. ad lib made Dean laugh...(for those who don;t know Dean had a nose job at one time due to an old boxing injury or something)
