I remember when this track came out. I relapsed and AFTER that my addiction took over with a big hand. Almost Lost everything once again but with some kind of miracle my wife is still with me and i can raise my Kids with her. Now sober again and im feeling stronger tham ever. Thank you for the real words. Sitting in the psych ward, without my children, facing a charge. Meth the devil has left me with nothing but suicide attempts, a broken heart. Been fighting this battle since 15 and now 41 reading a newspaper article about myself, the humiliation, the hurt I’ve caused my children. Your lyrics inspire me and helped me through another night. Just want this nightmare I’ve lived to be over! I want my life back. So scared the places it’s taken me. Never in a million years did I think this is where I would be.
