Look, I know I'm really jumping out of my comfort spheres of videos here, but I was feeling a bit uninspired creatively, so instead of continuing to sit in front of my computer trying and failing to make videos, I actually decided to watch something - and that was season three of Bridgerton. After having previously never seen a single episode of the whole show. So I went in zero context. And had a ball.
I'm a sucker for friends-to-lovers. It's really the only romantic trope that gets me. I genuinely don't believe there is anything more romantic than a story about two people who have loved and respected one another for a long time who then discover at some point that the type of love they would have previously used to describe their feelings towards one another has changed in forms.
I don't have a fully analytical essay about the relationship between Pen and Colin for this one (because again, I just haven’t been watching this show for very long AT ALL), like I seem to always have with my videos. All I can say is that making this was one of the first times the entire process felt truly painless. It’s a love story! It told itself. The joy was in getting to decide the specific way I wanted to allow it to do so.
The clip quality is low due to some source and downloading issues, but again, this was just a treat for me, so I'm trying to take it a little less seriously and allow myself to just enjoy it.
