There's a Colin Archer very close to me, about 100mts in Gyssestad Marina, Norway, it's beautiful, and traveled around the world twice, as far as I know.... I'm so happy to be here and see those boats ♥🥰 all people are wonderful too 👍⛵

Beautiful classic Ketch. I see the commercial fishing fleet in Harbor, I am a retired crab and salmon fisherman. SF Golden Gate.. Fantastic woodwork and bright work. Incredible running rigging. Gorgeous interior cabins what an impressive anchor rode. A double ender with a tiller not a helm. Made from Norwegian Spruce from the Norwegian Woods. Isn't it good , Norwegian Wood. I love sailing. I live aboard my 1968 Coronado sailboat in Oakland California. It is blowing 40 miles an hour at 4 a.m. today. And the fire danger is high. I will go walking the docks again. Thank you Lin

My landowner built this boat 40 years ago, all by hand, pretty incredible. The two of you have alot in common I guess. It is nice living on a boat, I once did for a month, but it was summer and weather was nothing but nice. Be careful in the wind, good to hear you look after your community, take care and be safe.

Wow! Loved that. Never seen masts stepped before. Very proud skipper. I felt at home when you were eating prawns, (shrimp if you believe yanks) My ears prick when you put up Colin Archer. A man of that name from Norway was the first settler in my home town Rockhampton Queensland. In 1855 he drove a large mob of sheep overland to settle at what he called Gracemere. His first home still stands. A slab hut. He retired back to Norway to build boats. He was a scot.
