Managing to find the source, the original plans, the provenance - a real Colin Archer - and details of your old - Super boat... priceless, a gift, it lifts you up... so good. I remember people talking about Colin Archers when I grew up in Sweden. Back then it was a bit derogatory I guess - not very fast and maybe old? Nice to get this insight of their history!

There is at least one other 32” Colin Archer pilot cutter built on order to Finland, the ”Pitkäpaasi”. They made a documentary film about her ”Four lifes on seven seas” by Jouko Aaltonen”, i think you can order the film, you can find it in Google. Btw Saari means island..

Because she was our only home at the time, we were starting a family and she just wasn't going to be big enough. We tried for a month or two, but nappy changing on the chart table finally broke the dream. Thanks for asking. Good question.
