I like the way he's only wearing the coat - his garish yellow tie and b&w striped tie are just the 80s, not his hideous costume. I'll defend him as a good Doctor 'till the day I die! The stories he had to do.. not so sure!

fired over the phone, not even face to face by JNT

@@Mrpaulaustin08 It was Michael Grade who fired him. A spineless coward who robbed one of the greatest actors to take on the role of further seasons.
@Mrpaulaustin082 жыл бұрын
@@judeh8160 We know Grade was behind it but JNT did it ....over the phone. "Colin Baker has stated that in a single conversation, showrunner John Nathan-Turner both fired him and asked him to stick around for his character's regeneration scene. Baker refused, and the scene was shot with incoming Doctor Sylvester McCoy in a blonde wig"

Hartnell's Doctor was rude and pompous. Actually, so was Tom a lot of the time...
@dedbatt88694 ай бұрын
@@MrLtia1234so was Capaldi and even Eccleston to an extent. To be honest, pompousness and slight rudeness, intentional or as a lack of social understanding, is pretty much fundamental to the Doctor’s character.
