Andermaal was a 32 hour livestream event in TivoliVredenburg curated by Colin Benders. For over 32 hours we streamed from the creative playground set up in our Cloud Nine with performers and artists including Albert van Abbe, Boris Acket, Matteo Myderwyk, Remco Menting, Speedy J, Steve Rachmad and many others. Colin Benders closed the stream himself with an improvised demolition set.

This is a different universe of making music and it is amazing! I think not everyone understands that this Instrument is not a digital computer. It is only driven by analog voltage. This cables you see do not transport digital data but analog signals. Amazing unique performance. Thx very much.

Would also be nice to know this 'different universe' as you call it is already some 60 years old..... ;)) Nothing new under the sun, it's just presented this way for a new/young generation which doesn't know anything about music history...

@@tonyvandergaag8765 But some if the modular devices Collin uses have more potential than 60 years ago. Sequencers, Filters and effects have increasingly developed over time.

@@lumm71 The systems might have developed technically but basically it's still the same technique as 60 years ago. Things are just being made easier for Collin these days because of more/futher development over the past 60 years. What bothers me a bit with all of this is that Benders is now being set in the spotlights as being some kind of wizard/explorer/innovator of electronic misic while these analogue systems are already around for more than 60 years and used for use in various types of 'modern music', which a lot of 'fans' don't even seem to know about. That's also why i've written down a list of names with one of your posts below...... 'Gods' who all walked the path even long before Benders ever did.... Not to put the lid on your nose, but those people deserve the title of 'God of Analog' much more than Colin Benders (IMHO that is!)
