Browns didn't need a DE. They needed a CB. Browns have Tyrod Taylor starting the season. No QB in the draft was more similar (but with a higher ceiling and talent) than Baker. It's like the Ravens got Lamar cause they have a similar guy in the locker room that he can learn from (RG3). Cardinals got Rosen who is similar to Bradford. It just shows that Darnold didn't fit the Brown's offensive plan and Chubb would just be an upgrade but wouldn't fill a glaring hole in the defense like Ward does.
