Practice slowly and then build up your speed. If you want to try step-dancing (and you should try it because it's fun), DO IT. Don't doubt yourself. Also, remember that step-dancing isn't just Riverdance and competitions: it's kitchen parties and regular people, too.

lol im an Irish dancer and have been dancing for like 4 years but my teacher uses different terms for the same moves so i dint get what he was saying

He's British, born to Irish parents. Like most of the lead cast of RD, both Michael Flatley and Jean Butler were Americans born to Irish parents. Not sure if there has been a lead from Ireland!

Shuffle and treble are used interchangeably. Shuffle is more tap terminology though

I watched a video of him and Jean Butler choreographing a project.. They're Dancers would've learned it quicker if he hadn't been so bloody rude and so bloody impatient at them. .

You cannot be Irish and British, even if he was born in Britain he is still Irish.
