Colin Farrell so enjoyable to watch when he's being interviewed, especially when it's about his non-commercial films. He has such a solid understanding of the text, of his character and he is able to convey those thoughts effortlessly to the audience. Personally, I think that it's the best advertisement an actor can give to the film when they truly understand every scene leading up to the end. I actually want to go watch this masterpiece of a film for the third time.

Honestly, one of the best interviews about the film I've seen. The interviewer definitely understood the movie better than a lot of reviewers out there, appreciated the work!

Farrell's bad boy image for his whole career has somewhat masked his actual intelect and eloquence.

Wow I didn't expected colin or in general actors to be so insightful in real life but he has thoughts, idea, meaning abt his duty as an actor. Yorgos is just amazing I always love his antisocial humour dialogue in his films. Lobster was amazing

Most surgeons are arrogant. It comes with their raison d'être. Without it they couldn't function. They swim daily in it as it facilitates what they use to get the job done. Next. What is it about Farrell's verbal spill? Did he get a good education? Yes. Privately schooled and a wealthy upbringing. We're fed that he was a punk with a propensity to hit. I doubt having children matured him as he says. It was there in the beginning even when strutting a line dance to advertise jeans. The drugged part of his life? Did it come from an abusive father? Is he an empath? Probably. Long before ecstasy which makes one empathetic. He's a bullet. I sound Irish.

The fact that he makes you feel uneasy and weird it shows how good he is, after all the movies are not so much about the meaning or the story, but about the emotional journey and how they make you look for answers inside yourself.

Sacred Deer, Lobster, Dogtooth. What do these have in common? Yorgos is a philosopher of the human condition, hypothesizing how humanity differs from non-humans, how conventions are thrust upon us, what is natural and unnatural....
