Agreed. He talks in his writing about still being distant despite physical intimacy. For me, that’s why I assume they have him with two women in the brothel scene, as he doesn’t emotionally connect with those women and being with two rather than one he can try and ignore that lack of connection and leave it something completely superficial and emotionless.

Apparently, a great Auk is an ancient species of Penguin in Artic. They were extinct during the 19th century, so Lord Debling here is probably travelling to Artic, trying to make an effort to preserve the species. So when Pen is taking about other birds, he seemed a little offended because the great Auk is not like other bird. Literally it is the ancestors of penguin😅

If you really think about it though if that balloon kept going it would have hit them both in the freaking head because their heads were still in the way of that balloon....so it was Colin that actually stopped the balloon and pulled it away from Penelope! Debling isn't so great he wasn't even in it for love, he just wants a house wife to take care of his home when he is away! I don't like Debling for Penelope and I didn't like Marina for Colin! Polin all the way!

Not so fun fact the actress who plays Eloise when she wears the poof across her arms is because she actually broke her arm trying to do a hi kick early in the morning before they started shooting any scenes the dress didn’t have any give at the bottom so she started to fall backwards and put her arm behind herself to break her fall and broke her wrist

@@TajinaeTurner yeah she mentioned it in a tik tok but I remember that I thought it was odd watching the show thinking it didn’t go with Eloise’s character to wear that as a fashion statement so it made perfect sense after knowing she broke her wrist and also there is a scene with the whole fam where she is laying down on the couch you can see her cast in that shot. Her wrist is all healed now though for anybody who was super worried
