I think all creative people(even the 'successful' ones) struggle with feelings of self doubt, but given that the man who wrote 'I just don't think I'll ever get over you' has now done a beautiful cover of 'Driving...' and says it's one of the best songs ever written, I think Justin Currie has permission to ignore any doubts he might have about his abilities. You're absolutely right Colin, it is one of the best songs ever written.

@Colin Hay - I saw you in 2018 at the Toyota Oakdale in Wallingford Connecticut, when you toured with Ringo Starr & his all Starr band; it was a great show. That's a lovely rendition and so good to see Colin Hay acknowledge Justin Currie who as some of the other comments have pointed out is a fine singer songwriter. BTW the new Dels album is fabulous. Must say that 2021 has been a great year for music with new albums from Del Amitri, Crowded House, Teenage Fanclub, Gary Louris and now this excellent covers album from Colin Hay.
