Thanks for posting this. I have never followed "Men at Work" or Colin Hay, though of course knew their hits. However, believe it or not, I was watching a re-run of the old sitcom "Scrubs," and throughout one episode Hay pops up in silly scene after scene, singing "Overkill," haha. For some reason, it really impressed me, on various levels, and now,those lyrics are more applicable than ever. Then I started listening to more versions (LOVED the first one I heard, with "Cboir, Choir, Choir!" -- an amazing version. After that, I discovered the song I am currently playing, ad infinitum -- It is "I Just don't Think I'll Get Over You" (Live at eTown) It was recorded in Boulder Colorado in 2017 or 2018. There are a lot.of recordings of this song, but this one, I don't know, really gets me, as it holds more gravitas now that he (and I) are a lot older, and *look* the role in a different, deeper way. It's also really nicely filmed. It is.moving and beautiful, lovely.guitar parts. He has an unusual and so, so.pleasant voice. All of it in that tune...perfection. As though he were wearing the song draped across his heart and soul. I am delighted to know that he's still doing concerts as recent as this! Appreciate your.sharing; cheers!

Thank you so much for your very kind words. That was my second time I've seen Colin Hay perform live as I seen him in my hometown of Largs, 30 miles south west of Glasgow, where he played two sell out nights at the now defunct Vicky's and went down a storm with the locals. Colin isn't just a great musician he's also a great personality and a true gentleman. Those who attended this gig in Irvine got more than their money's worth that night and feeling more happier when they got home.

You would thoroughly enjoy the documentary about him! His songs were some of our favorites back in high-school in the late 80s, and I recently came across that same recording of Choir! Choir! Choir! And was amazed.... have been having fun catching up on all the music of his I've missed over the years!

I am in the deep coastal forests of northern California, soon to relocate in retirement to northern Spain. Cannot wait to leave the USA. Ah well, that is a completely different tale! Right on I saw Men at Work back in 83 they were such a cool and different band what a distinctive and awesome voice Colin Hay has so crazy 40 years ago this year

Colin was in his old home town of Melbourne, Australia in early November 2022. He had 1000 people in the palm of his hand for 2 hours - not a cough, not a foot shuffling on the floor. Just his songs, range of stories and guitar(s). Infinitely amazing.

Alot of folks dont realize he played alot /most lead guitar parts in Men at Work. He's way more guitarist than most know. Here he's just playing.

I would pay good money to see Colin Hay in concert
