Why isn't he nominated for the R&R Hall of Fame? He is much better than the 2019 nominations.

Unfortunately, it's primarily the Media who pick the respective Talent. COLIN JAMES did not have global releases and support, he's known well here, in Canada, but has not been able to gain significant Programmers' #support in other markets

I had the pleasure of seeing Colin twice. Once at Telemiracle in Regina and at The Rose and Crown in Banff. He gave an amazing performance both times and did not disappoint! Love you Colin!

Bought the album back in the days. Blew me away. The melodic rock with a dash of big band and uptempo blues poured over it.. Sinsational album. For me his very best. Pitty never seen him following up on this. Brilliance.

Never heard of this artist or song (I know, I know 🤷♀️) until it was on the radio while I was driving yesterday. Holy heck! Cranked up the volume within the first few seconds and let it rip. 🔥 Looked like a total idiot bouncing around in my seat but didn’t care. It was AWESOME! 😍

We hired him for a company party in Toronto in the mid ‘90’s. I remember he had a bunch of guitars on stage, and he’d switch guitars every few songs. He was very entertaining. I’d forgotten that he sang this song.

Big fan of this album when it came out & still a Colin James fan (saw him live last year). Just found out now in 2020 that this video was directed by Michael Bay before he started directing movies.
@MattIon12 жыл бұрын
Probably because SRV helped him get his "big break". From IMDB: "... an 18-year old Colin playing the guitar like he was born to it, that caught the eye of master guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. Impressed with what they were playing, he invited them to open up acts for him in Saskatoon, and later in the United States." He also collaborated with Reese Wynans, keyboardist for Double Trouble, which probably has a lot to do with the similar sounds.

So this is how this video is suposed to look. I've only seen it here on youtube, and it always looked like somebody filmed it off their tv with a web cam. Shouldn't somebody call the police about the guy being raped in the Phone Booth by the hot chick? Ah, maybe not.
