The problem was his playing ability started to decline after the 2012 season. Defenses adjusted to him and he didnt make the necessary adjustments to combat it. People came make the claim.that his protesting is what cost him his job but reality is he lost the starting QB job before he started protesting. He is athletic enough to continue to play in the league, the question being is his protesting more important to him than giving his best effort on the field because teams are not going to want to pay a person millions of dollars as a QB when that QB treats protesting like his full time job and playing football as his part time job.

Oops, that's only four -- insert Colin Kaepernick there at #4 (2.40). And if that's not enough, he finished his last season with 16 TDs and 4 INTs -- that's near Aaron Rodgers' territory (SN: Tom Brady was OUTTA HIS MIND @ 28 TDs and 2 INTs [14.00]). And if that's STILL not enough, his record against Aaron Rodgers AND Tom Brady is 4-2. Conclusion: he's MORE THAN GOOD ENOUGH to play in the NFL.

Yeah Kapernick was marvelous in his pathetic final season with S.F *1-10* as a starter and his career under 60% completion % is as pathetic as it gets.He can't read defense's because every defensive coordinator in the league caught on to his one trick pony act. He's horrendous at trying to find a second option or secondary receiver and when those options fail he always takes off to the strong side where the strong safety and line backers are waiting for him. Tom Brady has a career total of 80,000 yards passing and Kapernick barely makes it above 12,000 yards. *28-30* as a starter career and you even mention him in the same breath as Brady ..Brady alone in the playoffs has more wins *30* you *DOPE*

@@tomkauffmann8462 bruh stop making excuses. Kap had weapons for days and couldn't do shit with them because his pocket awareness was trash. Crabtree, Davis, Gore, Walker, Moss, and a good o line. He made the line look like trash because he kept running into the sack. He had the most fumbles in the NFL which they don't talk about which is just as bad as throwing picks.

Dude, it wasn't Kaepernick's choice to end his career, it was the NFL owners. Your video proves it isn't for lack of talent either. Kaepernick could start for many teams. The NFL owners colluded against him.
@MrPrimus20126 жыл бұрын
Wrong. He opted out of his contract with 49ers and turned down an offer from the Broncos in 2016. He made those choices and there was no collusion.
@squatch5456 жыл бұрын
Wrong. The 49ers said they would have cut Kaepernick even if he had not opted out of his contract. And the Broncos offer to him was for a pay cut. Yes, there is collusion. It only takes two teams to collude. We'll see what the courts decide.
@MrPrimus20126 жыл бұрын
He walked away, refused the pay that they thought he was worth, was not conspired against. He doesn't have this magical right to play in the NFL. NFL Owners on the other hand have the right to not hire him. No employee anywhere has the right to act however they want on the job site. Every employer everywhere has the right to demand their employees act a certain way, including forbidding behavior that is detrimental to the company/business.

Look at the decline of his supporting cast as the highlight reel progresses. He went from Gore, Delanie Walker, Vernon Davis, Randy Moss, Michael Crabtree, and Anquan Bolden to... Brandon Lloyd, Julian Simpson, Torrey Smith, Carlos Hyde, Vance McDonald and Garrett Celek. Not to mention they lost their head coach and nearly 80 per cent of that starting defense after Kaepernick's first full season as a starter.

@allanstott33196 жыл бұрын
Literally kneels for his cause. Won't debate his points. Ever. If he really stood for his cause, logic dictates that he would in at least _some_ capacity talk to those he disagrees with about it. Kaep raised $20k for the daughter of a cop-killer, FBI most-wanted terrorist Assata Shakur. How people don't see that act alone as inflammatory or unnecessary polarization is beyond me. Of the 987 total fatal shootings in the U.S in 2017, 223 were black and *_20_* were unarmed (which doesn't eliminate every one of them from posing a potential threat, it just means they were unarmed). To put that into perspective, *_16_* people died from lighting strikes in 2017. 16 fatalities is the lowest number in U.S recorded history. The United states has a population of 325.7 million (2017). I really don't love what he stands for and the *main* reason is actually based on his propensity to open up a dialogue without acknowledging the opposing side or even speaking to them face-to-face at all. How's any real _change_ going to be achieved when *_anyone_* conducts themselves like that? And Kaep only started to do this once his career was taking a downturn. He's actions have now resulted in him acquiring more wealth than he was likely to make in the NFL.

@chuck vick couldn't read defenses worth a damn, ever. Kaep brought a franchise that had been nothing for over a decade. Back to consistent contention and nearly brought them back from down against a strong defense in the Superbowl. Then the league turned into snowflakes because he(didn't parrot their usual talking points) and Jim Harbaugh(fired because he wanted to continue to shape the roster correctly. But instead handed it over to f***ing Chip Kelly) didn't bow down to their old school ways. Oh and how's that Jimmy Garropalo working out. Looking quite scared against a bottom 10 defense when it was put up or shut up time. Kinda akin to Kirk 'Kurt, You like that?' Cousins, skidish Goff and rollin' right Baker 'MayorMaynotfield'
@jonathanjohnson67274 жыл бұрын

Cam Newton returned to the Panthers today and he has all the qb records for them, yet Kap was better throwing the ball and more electric running it than Cam. Sad to say I dont think the door is even cracked for Kap to get back with an NFL team and I think he is better right now than a dozen starting qbs. today.
@Kittonwy6 жыл бұрын
Those teams were so stacked, most of those TDs had either Crabtree or Davis creating massive separation, or Kap on a tug and run. Once those two were gone and the league figured out the pistol, we saw Kap throwing into the ground. Some of those TDs he had all day to throw but he still ran out of the pocket, very rarely did he actually step up in the pocket. He could probably still run like a giselle though.
