It really hurts my heart crane wife was easily the best album of that year and it did away with so many of the corny songs that would fill in between the excellent songs it was just incredible from I mean there's one one song on it I don't like perfect crimes about the dumbest thing in the world but yeah it just Texas what an album but shankill butchers Yankee banditover Valencia and it goes on and on but I can't ever look at the same way I'll still enjoy the music when I get over the initial anger but I'll never go see him live again and he's lost all respect for me and all respect for himself obviously

So I'm basically "classic liberal" (I'm liberal by 20th century standards but not by post-2008-ish standards). However, I am so used to all of my favorite musicians being left-leaning really hard like this that I can't really bring myself to get that upset if one of my favorite musicians holds those kinds of opinions. I love this band and it doesn't ruin my listening experience. Also, is it any freaking surprise that Colin is very liberal? He is from PORTLAND.
