Thanks as always for posting Martyn. Eastbourne has always been a tight track and especially in turns 1 & 2. Great to see a tough race though. Colin was great when he was at Wimbledon especially with Roger John's in the team as well. Worth the entrance money just to see the two of them going for it. As an aside, I remember going to the cinema in the late 70’s when they still had B movies before the main film. I nearly fell out of my seat once when the b movie was about speedway racers! The main focus of the film was shot at Wimbledon and featured both Colin and Roger! I'd love to see that film again if anyone has it👍

Break-a-way walls. Nice. We had two inch thick planks all around. The only time I saw anyone go through a wall was myself when I overcooked the corner and backed right into the pit gates. Me and my bike went tumbling into the pits, riders diving for cover. I wasn't hurt....

Always been a small tight track, you have to turn the bike hard mid corner, after the pass he tried to come tight mid corner as he would need to, not intentional, racing incident I think?
