It's just the beginning for him. Bad Day - his single that he put out last month has an almost half a million streams on Spotify alone. I Still Talk to Jesus dropped 2 days ago is #5 on iTunes country chart. He had a solid country fan base that roots for him as long as he is putting out music. The contract of American Idol is not that great anyway..so probably best that he didn't win the title.
