I think I would like to see people of different ages (similar to the 1-100 video) but it could be sectioned so the adults compete with the adults and the minors compete with minors, but genuinely it would be a bummer if only 18+ could compete. (In my opinion) Also it would be good if people could submit a form or something to ask to compete, rather than having to choose the contestants on random, giving more chance to the people who want the chance really badly.

I think something I've noticed is that Jimmy sometimes assumes things he did were always wrong, rather than the audiences and tastes develop. Almost not giving his past self enough credit. For example, in my limited understanding/opinion, the "Open mouth thumbnails" were popular because people came to KZbin for the stuff they couldn't see on TV and were expecting shocking or out of this world stuff and that expression is a picture form of it. However, as KZbin has become more mainstream, people want reality. I think his past decision to use them wasn't a mistake, but a sign of the time. Of course, I'm not claiming to know more than Jimmy, he is an absolute genius when it comes to his content and I'm subscribed and am in constant awe of his business decisions. 100% respect to him. Just surprised at how little credit he gives his past self.

i REALLY appreciate these interviews as a content creator for almost 10 years now, i'm not one to really prioritize much outside of making the thing that i'm making fun to watch all the way through. i'm also sort of self limited in scope in terms of content i want to make (gaming, entertainment, me) so seeing the biggest person on the platform talk about his processes and goals involved is incredibly insightful. I have the same mindset when it comes to creating content i have an interest in, fiscal mindset not so much LOL. The scope of what he's doing at any moment still feels baffling. Thanks for the vido 👍
The section of this on "slowing things down" and how his content has gotten a bit slower over time was very interesting. Would love to see his edit team take a run at one of his older videos and extend it from a 12 min runtime to a 22 min runtime and see the difference. I would think it would be a great way to actually feel what you are talking about; and would also be very educational.

@firelordplayz8 ай бұрын
Yes and no. In theory mostly yes, but in practice it's mostly no. Anyone truly can achieve anything, but not everyone can achieve everything. There are tons of moving pieces here that all came together PERFECTLY for MrBeast: yes, his insane creativity and work ethic (nobody can deny that), but also perfect timing with/on KZbin, crazy support from his mom (the fact he was able to live at home, for free, without holding a steady job while working on his videos: 99% of kids/families live paycheck to paycheck and can't afford that luxury), algorithm, the whole social media generation of people (let's be honest, without that and KZbin he'd probably just have a regular job) etc. You can imagine there were millions of people just like him who were simply born decades before the internet and who would do amazing things online if there only were such a thing as "online". It's in a way like winning the lottery. Ask lots of those lottery winners about it and most of them will tell you they had dreams about the right numbers, they were manifesting it, blah, blah... Others will say it was just luck. It's probably both. Also, there are different levels to "winning the lottery" as someone wins $100k, someone else wins $10 million and someone wins over a $1 billion! So yeah, anyone can theoretically achieve the highest level of success, but not everyone can achieve the highest level of success. Someone will end up with 100k subscribers after 10 years and someone will have dozens of millions after just a single year.

In every interview it’s super apparent that he tries to make sure people know he’s not greedy. It’s a big key to his success. I know you guys are his buddy and you do go easy on him a lot but thanks for at least trying to keep him from dodging the revenue question again. Just like how he tried to play off that Squid Game reality show wasn’t a big deal lol. It you brought back up that his company is almost a billion in revenue and he outright says “I don’t like to talk about money because then people think I’m rich” lol we know dude. He really was at a loss for words once you didn’t let him dodge.

@@GolferOnAndOffTheCourse They never had the chance to win. The winner is predetermined from the start. Random subscribers sacrificed their time and own money to participate in Beast games thinking they had a chance to win big money. Instead, on top of getting tortured in game and mistreated by staff, they got scammed into thinking they had a chance to win.

14:19 the fact that jimmy doesn’t draw inspiration from other unscripted shows and the show that he’s working on is a “different animal than anyone’s ever done” convinces me that he’s a literal pioneer in this field, not only is he the best at what he does but he is breaking new ground and reaching new heights, I believe he is among the greatest creators of his generation and will be remembered for a long time.

Amazing podcast episode Great new intro 0:22 Those stats are crazy 2:00 KZbinrs aren't conventional, so this being the press release nakes sense 7:45 this will make it better, while Mr. Beast videos haven't been as fast paced, many should be slowed down a little, so Beast Games will be amazing Jimmy sounds excited about it, and righy so 11:47 woah 13:10 that would be awesome 18:30 there is a lot on the line, but I'm sure Mr. Beast will deliver 19:17 applying his philosophy for streaming 20:40 great analogy 20:55 I remembered Jimmy talking about this, that's why I wasn't surprised when Beast Games was announced 21:08 I had the same reaction 22:02 the pokes worked 😅 30:22 Feastables on Amazon... 30:35 I hope not, I can't buy Feastables since they're not Kosher 52:45 maybe the challenge could be not part of the game but part if the season, maybe after the challenges are finished 56:47 while Mr. Beast video paces have slowed down, there is still is room for the videos to be more slow paced 57:20 this was great 57:35 the thumbnail is amazing 57:10 less yelling 😅 1:02:20 genius, maybe this could be called the cycle of Beastification 1:20:55 Really puts it into perspective, Jimmy is doing an amazing job 1:28:50 it will be crazy! The way I found out about this announcement was opening the Publish Press, then going to Mr. Beast on X, then coming here Idea for Beast Games: Ten teams of ten people compete in ten of the same escape room, which is the most complex and difficult ever, with a round two with the top teams competing in the next challenge
