I never expect Ben Johnson to take the Bears job, but wouldn’t it be weird to move within division? Also it looks like NFC North is going to be tough to win for the foreseeable future, you want a division where you can be winning every year

Bears is the best opening, Johnson will be the coach CRY ABOUT IT
@mattcarberry36822 сағат бұрын
i guarantee you that "what job opening is in the worst division so i can win easier" is not a part of the thought process especially with how much the league changes over the span of a couple years, it's a waste of time to try thinking with that scared of competition soft mentality and i highly doubt Ben Johnson is the "afraid" type
@thejsixm235721 сағат бұрын
@@mattcarberry368 Ben Johnson is going to have his pick of jobs and I'm pretty sure, "how many wins do I think we can rack up next year?" is a question he's going to ask himself prior to making a decision. I happen to think that the Bears is one of the more appealing jobs right (as opposed to the dumpster fire organizations like the Jets or Cowboys) now so I wouldn't be surprised to see him take that job, but I don't think its "soft" to protect your wallet by taking a job that you know won't result in you being out of football after one bad year.
@Puckett.20 сағат бұрын
If a HC candidate picks an easier division then that’s a knock on him as a competitor. You should want to play in the toughest games possible so that when you do make the playoffs you’re ready for the competition.

We Don't Want Ben Johnson. He has Zero HC experience. The last thing that we need is a Soft OC, first-time HC for a Franchise Known for Great Defense and The Greatest and Most Dominant Defense of All-Time, '85-86 Chicago Bears. Flores and Vrabel would be welcomed, Ben Johnson not at all!

Can’t take Colin seriously when he still lists the Bears at 4-12. You can think Vrabel is the #1 candidate out there but it’s just ignorant to say he’s the only serious candidate or to say that coordinators aren’t serious candidates. Every great HC was once a coordinator. Every HC candidate with experience was fired for a reason. You’ve just got to figure out if that reason is relevant to you or not.
