UM fan here, and even though I'm obviously ecstatic Michigan has won the past 4 years, I remember the wilderness years between 2000-2020 where OS pretty much owned us, so my joy is tempered. UM consistently gets out-recruited and, with NIL, outspent by OS, which to me is like going up against a pro program. They even take the rivalry more seriously (they have a countdown clock for The Game, for crissakes). They usually have all the advantages, so "should" win. The fact UM even has a chance to win is because we've developed our 3-4 star recruits to play above their rating and we've simply out-coached them in the big game the past 4 years. All that said, GO BLUE!!! Make it 5 straight next year.

@@kevinjohnston4923 I certainly feel that the coaching staff let the team down. Urban is Ryan Day's friend so he didn't want to come out and say exactly that. He tip-toed around it, to not thrown his friend under the bus. I think Will Howard was seeing stars after that big hit, and I think Ryan Day and Chip Kelly had stars in their eyes, remembering the way the O-line finished the Penn State game. No sense of a Plan B if Plan A isn't working. Remember when Saban had the stones to put Tua in for Hurts when Hurts wasn't playing well? Sometimes you gotta hang it out there. I love his analysis too. But he's terrible at predicting The Game lol.

Nick Saban and Belichick never made any game bigger than any other game when they lost they moved on to the next game they didn't relive it over and over again the Buckeyes are going to keep losing till they figure out this is just another game it's not life and death we're in the playoffs people we don't have to play Oregon we're going to rest our players

i really dont look at Ohio State as a top 5 team. it has nothing to do with last week.
@AnthonyPallante-ep9zs5 күн бұрын
Lot of teams can win it. No clear cut favorite. Hate to say it, Notre Dame can play.

It would if been a great game if OSU and Oregon went at it but penn state is about to get destroyed
@IamRa-185 күн бұрын
Based off of the Penn State Ohio State game, Oregon is going to destroy them

Yep! Just like Ohio State was a 20 point faver against Michigan. That's why you play the games bro.
@AdamMcMillin-t8g5 күн бұрын
its pretty interesting now that there is no sign stealing and in helmet communications that there is only 1 undefeated team and big teams with multiple losses and osu loses to a rebuilding Michigan team lmao, pretty suspect.

Nobody ever gives credit to Michigan. Its always something Ohio State did wrong. This is why the game keeps repeating itself. Michigan defense dominates the 2nd half Ohio State qquits in 4th quarter like losers do.

A lot of Michigan fan bragging about the OSU win. Wonder why they are taking about their non playoff, meaningless bowl game.

Does Colin (and a few other pundits) see the Oregon logo and just automatically assume they aren't as physical? Times have changed. They are bullies on both sides of the line and Jordan James runs like Isiah Pacheco. As electric as their offense is, their defense is better and is filled with physicality. Their WRs are mostly finesse, but good luck keeping up with them.

I think this is very true and accurate. I talk to so many fans from the SEC (and even still some in the BIG10) that still see this Oregon team as small, flashy and gimmicky. It blows my mind. I just hope opposing teams in the playoffs keep overlooking us the same way these media personalities do. Oregon ain’t messing around.

I’m sorry but I’m getting my tired of this as an OSU fan. We lose to TTUN, Ryan Day acts like he’s so disappointed, and then we act like it doesn’t matter because we’re in the playoffs anyway. That’s not how the Buckeyes are supposed to be. We’re supposed to put THE GAME above anything else. If we lose that, we more than likely miss the Big Ten Championship. You’re not a real Buckeye if you can’t beat TTUN for the pride of your fans, and state.

What's the point of these conference championship games (other than a money grab by the networks)? If I were a player on one of these teams, I'd skip this game. It doesn't mean anything and can only get players hurt.
