I recall in an interview a few years ago, Albert Pujols said the first time he saw Ohtani take batting practice he called Mark McGuire and told him there’s a new Japanese guy on the team that can hit the ball as far as anybody he’s seen. McGuire initially thought he was joking or something.

It's funny. You can purposely throw a 100 mph fastball at someone's head, and maybe get a warning, but toss your glove into the stands, and suddenly that's unacceptable.

lol. Colin Cowherd’s histrionics are fun to view because of his heartfelt intensity even though it often blinds him to relevant facts. The more emphaticly he speaks, the less believable he is. After Lopez dissed the ump and the glove throwing drama there was an interview that Mr. Cowherd did not mention and probably missed that likely facilitated Lopez release from the Mets.
