I've been thinking the same thing. but I startedto find myself cheering for the “old guy” that was no longer needed. And realized I had never actually researched his past history. The past two years have been my favorite of watching the NFL and I really wish I would have noticed it earlier. It's Next year is gonna suck! Never thought I'd say that.. But I'm a Tom Brady fan for life now. Watching documentaries about this guy for the past two years has taught me more about winning in life than anything. I don't need to wish him good luck in retirement because I know he’ll win that too!!

Power, ego, highest paid do not come to mind when I think of Brady. Sacrificing pay, not throwing teammates under the bus, elevating teammates, trying to bring in and help mentally challenged struggling multiple wide receivers, are what comes to my mind. Yes he was in deflategate, just like there are some holding penalties called... And some are not. My top 5 memories. #1 for SB's #2 great players wanted to be on his team, a great communicator/challenger. #3 his dad was his idol. #4 productive longevity, by way of delayed gratification = no drinking no off days in the season. #5 he never appeared to be different things to different people.

Man, Brady's feud with Belichick must have been big enough to not even mention him. 😂

I'm absolutely sure when Tom Brady does his HoF speech in Canton he will most definitely place a lot of his speech towards the Patriots and the Pats organization. But on "his day" to announce his retirement. That was "his day" to bid goodbye to what he wanted to say closing out his season. I think he already has given Patriot Fans in Foxboro a thank you for time spent there. He moved on to Tampa, and has retired a Bucs player. But his HoF speech will be dedicated to all those that helped him throughout his long career which obviously includes the Pats.

I enjoyed the giants winning those 2 Super Bowls but part of me is like what if he won and had that perfect season and 9 rings.
