Its easy to evaluate QBs Take away throwa everyone can hit Count drops as completions and dropped picks as picks - there you go Purdy is a bad startee. Top 32 but not top 25. He gets stats cause of the Shannahan scheme. He is better than Garrapolo who was a backup.

I can’t believe Bill is not coaching the Cowboys this season. Their problem is their defense. They hired Bill their defense would have been 10% better automatically. We all know Bill is not a genius on the offense, but I have never seen anyone coach a defense better than Bill. What him and Tom did was amazing.

People forget about Deebo in 2021. He was the best offensive player in the league, not a QB. As a a weapon, he is more valuable. As a pure WR, Aiyuk is more valuable. But Shanahan’s offense is not WR dependent. So Deebo is more valuable, right now, than Aiyuk. Give it a year, that might very well change.

Then it's like 700k fine per preseason game (5th year option fine rate) then another 700k per game for 8 games, then he has to come back game 9 thru 17 for the contract season to count.. That's huge money loss... Like 10+ million lost. + he looks so bad from this, his timing etc is off his stats tank and what GM is going to want him for year 6 to pay him that big bag of money for 4 years. Sitting out has never worked except for chiefs Jones last year, but d Lineman is totally different than wr. What if he gets hurt, lose 10+ million and small change contract. He either plays out year 5 and bets on himself or he signs the best offer the 49ers give him b4. They could trade him but that's only if a team offers a top 10 guy they need + 1st rounder maybe 2nd rounder next year at worst

Maybe Bill does coach Dallas. However I doubt he stays on for many seasons past the point he passes Shula on the all time wins list because I know with certainty that Bill knows Dak isn’t going to win a CHAMPIONSHIP as a starter. So if he goes to Dallas it’s for the all time wins mark only, not to win a Super Bowl, because Dak isn’t going to win one, any cowboys fan who can’t accept that by now is in perpetual la la land.
