Seems to me that the Chiefs end up frustrating their opponents throughout a game such that by Q4, they lose it just enough to make 1 bad decision on defense and 1 bad decision on offense and *boom* the Chiefs are scoring the winning TD or kicking the winning FG as time expires.

I'm not ready to pass any judgement on the Chiefs going forward; for the Bengals, this was a playoff game and they played like it - high intensity, shutting out Kelce, emotional mistakes, etc. For the Chiefs, lots to work on that will get worked on, but plenty of great things as well. I don't want to hear all the walk backs on the Bears. The media tried so hard to gaslight everyone into believing they were a good team, a playoff team, even possibly a SUPERBOWL TEAM! All because of Caleb and the "offseason drafts/trades". But objective watchers all said that they wouldn't be good. Caleb is a 50% completion percentage guy at this point. They added players that have a history of being hurt or are overrated by media types. The offensive line is either really bad or a product of bad offensive coordinator play calling, none of which has changed. And they are the Bears!

Caleb is pressured so much because he takes 5 seconds to throw the ball. Nobody in college took longer to throw than Caleb last year. Jayden doesn’t have the same issues as Caleb. Saying all the rookie qbs are bad well Jayden is near the top of the league in completion percentage, 2TDs-0turnovers, and last week had 7 real drives and all 7 the offense scored. Week before that in Tampa he had 8 real drives and 5 of them he scored. Caleb will be great but let’s not make excuses for him playing bad now because he’s not ready.

The Offensive Line will make or break your team and really it’s an Offensive Line crisis around the NFL. Chargers absolutely nailed this drafty by going with Joe Alt over a WR.

He stilled played better than fields to me, fields had 117 yards passing in year 4 like come on now, I’ll rather take the ups and downs of Caleb going through the growing pains with a higher upside than fields, Caleb had a bad game and still through for 60 more yards than fields even under extreme pressure all night, plus he’s already passing better from the pocket, fields had nothing if he isn’t throwing a deep ball

If it wasn’t for a rookie corner making a dumb decision we win that game..on top of it we only rushed 3 on that 4th and 16. Stop creating a narrative that KC somehow did something incredible. We let them have that game. Period! Oh did I mention cinci missed a PAT? KC lost that game. Foh

If Colin thinks missing Keenan is a big part of the Bears struggles then I question he knows anything about football. Keenan is fine at this stage of his career but by the end of this season he’ll be just seen as a guy. WRs rarely make a successful transition to a new team this late in their career. I never expected Keenan to be a 1000 yard receiver in Chicago. I don’t even think you’ll see 600 and that’s if he’s healthy all 17 games.

Saw the stat today that Mahomes has had 17 interceptions taken away due to defensive penalties since 2018. Most in the league shockingly! Had one taken away in a huge spot yesterday due to illegal contact on Kelce when Kelce intitiated 100% of the contact. It has gotten out of control. The way they protect Mahomes is nuts. Offensive tackle was actually tackling Hendrickson every play because he had no pray of blocking him. It gets let go to protect Mahomes.

Why are you crying? Brady was the villian, now its Mahomes. Great teams never let their guard down. Find ways to win by throwing to the rookie corner.

Sorry to say, but I'm getting Zach Wilson flashbacks watching Williams try to play QB for the Bears. May sound crazy because Caleb came out of USC with way more hype than Wilson , but they look pretty similar. A little undersized, not seeing the field well, holding on the ball too long, good athletes but not dynamic enough to be a force multiplier in the run game and too many hero ball plays. The killer thing though is the lack of accuracy on those deep shot and out of structure plays. That was supposed to be Caleb 's (and Zach's) forte, but he's not hitting the broadside of a barn on some of those. He could get better, but thats my first impression.

Yeah honestly, I think Williams and Trevor Lawrence are very similar with similar issues because Trevor also came into the league touted as a generational QB, both went to organizations that are godawful at running a team or developing players.

he got pressured on so many drop backs, cause he cant see the field, and runs around holding onto the ball for 10 seconds. caleb williams was pressured before 2.5 seconds on 41% of his drop backs. which is bad, but league avg is still around 35%. fields had seasons where he was pressured before 2.5 seconds over 50% of the time the one year. the line has definitely improved. but quoting a stat about being pressured, when it involves a QB that holds onto the ball longer than any other QB, is pointless. its why bagent doesnt get sacked nearly as much. he gets the ball out. any QB that holds the ball longer than 3 seconds is constantly going to be pressured, and thats not the o-lines fault.

If you thought the Bears Oline was good at the end of last year, you are foolish. The interior three is terrible. There is nothing a QB can do with pressure up the middle. If you go to the side or or gain depth in the pocket, you step into the edge rushers lane. You can't step up because that's where the pressure is. Chicago thinking carrer backups were going to work was absolute institutional arrogance. Now, no resonable person thought it would be a one year fix, but guards and center need to quickly become a priority.

"We know caleb is better than brice young" We absolutely do not know that. Let us remember that ESPN gave them a top 20 roster, many major outlets including PFF gave them a top 10 roster, and vegas gave them great odds at a superbowl run. Now that they suck it is the roster and not Caleb? Caleb is objectively a bottom 5 starting QB right now. He may be great one day, but absolutely it is his fault. Pressure on all the drop backs? Year let us remember he had one of the longest snap to pass times last week, and this week after the first half he went right back to that. Many of the "pressures" happened after 2.5 seconds which is the magic number to release the ball, not to mention on 25-50% of the pressures it was caleb stepping into the pass rush.
