Every time Collin tries to imply in an interview with Brady that Belichick was the bad one and Brady the good one, Brady has only spoken positively about Belichick. He highlights how well-prepared the team was for games, how they had all the answers to the test, always knew what to do, what would complicate things, and how to solve them. He says Kraft didn’t suddenly turn bad in one year but implies that Belichick did. I don’t understand why there’s so much criticism. I assume Collin invited Belichick to join Fox, and Belichick chose ESPN instead.

The reality is that a 10-game losing streak, being swept by the division for the first time in 20 years, and consistently making poor game management decisions are going to lead to any coach being let go. Before we can talk about any coaching stuff, we have to address something… #1 we have one of the worst owners in the NFL, if not thee worst. This organization is highly dysfunctional and most professionals are not trying to work there. Now that we have that out-of-the-way, we changed coaches and players almost every year yet we get the same results. Let’s be honest, AP should have never got the job to begin with, Harbaugh was there and Davis did nothing to get him. And then, even after hiring a guy who wasn’t ready to be a coach, the organization did nothing to help him, Tom Telesco refused to give a good offensive coordinator, Cliff Kingsbury, a three-year contract. Hence, Kingsberry went to a different team. Antonio Pierce wanted to move up in the draft for a certain quarterback and was blocked. Since Tom Telesco has worked in the NFL, he has had a terrible reputation with coaches and coordinators. He is a good talent scout but terrible general manager. He still is employed by Mark Davis. There are absolutely no good head coaches looking for jobs right now and anybody who is decent does not want to work for a dysfunctional organization or a general manager like Tom Telesco. Mark Davis knows that a lot of his fans are more interested in looking cool rather than having a good team, that’s all he cares about, looking cool and trying to make money. Hence where he moved the team to, he knew, they all knew, we knew, Vegas is a vacation city, other teams fans are gonna fill up the seats.

I would've given AP another year. I don't think even Vince Lombardi would've done any better with that team/roster in that Division. He was given a tough break. AP wanted Daniel's, and maybe if we had secured the pick to get Daniel's, Kliff Kingsbury would've signed on even with a 2 year deal. But Washington wasn't trading the pick. If AP could've somehow turned it around next year then great, but if the Raiders imploded again next year, they'd be in prime position to take Arch Manning out of Texas (assuming he declares) and then they'd be a much better situation for a Top Tier Head Coach. Interested to see who they bring in, but at the same time, who would even want this job, right now ??

Capt. Bowlcut was wrong to hire AP last year, when he had a shot at Harbaugh, Vrabel, and Belichick....that's when he let the flaky players like Davante Adams force a rookie coach AP on him. Plus, AP lost 10 straight games, and failed to win ONE division game (first time in 18 years). Even with a mediocre team that went 8-9 last year (with AOC at QB), AP should have been able to do better than 4-13. As far as Belichick, I think you're playing fast and loose with the STATS, but yes...he didn't seem to prioritize offensive skill position players. But, Aaron Hernandez should have gone to a Pro Bowl in 2011, and Julian Edelman was a very good receiver.

Funny how when the Pats were winning Belichik was one of the greatest coaches of all time and he allegedly took a chance on Brady who sat till the sixth round but now they struggle and it's all Bill fault smh. Can't discredit his winning and give the credit to QB only and yes Brady won a SB in Tampa but you can't deny it was a stacked team before him, gronk, brown and them got there I get it but you don't think if Bill had Mahomes he'd win one too?

STOP IT TAMPA BAY WAS 7 AND 9 BEFORE TOM BRADY GAME AND THEN HE BEAT DREW BREES AND THEN HE BEAT AARON RODGERS AND THEN HE BEAT PATRICK MAHOMMES IN THE SUPERBOWL

Man I can only imagine how great Brady could when been with a true offensive genius QB guru like GOAT Andy Reid

A grown man assuming that “watching the document” sums everything up is pretty damn ignorant

Whats so hard to see that Brady and Belichick were both responsible for the success at NE. Football has 2 sides of the ball and BB was a mastermind on his side. His downfall was getting more power, especially since he messed up the offensive side. Brady also got to pick his destination and it had everything for him to be successful

That's why Gruden is the answer

Someone should do a documentary on the defense of the Patriots dynasty coached by Belichick that stopped other teams and put the ball in the hands of Brady to make him what he is today. Without defense Brady wins two super bowls.

Yeah and how many DCs are also GMs? Bill was an awful GM

Yes Belichick is a great defensive coordinator he is not a good head coach

don't agree with Colin much, but this was one of his more on-point segments

I agree. 4 wins with those QBs is about 8

AP definitely got hosed, but he also wasn’t ready to be a HC. Both things can be true.

Colin had to start with the Raiders gig so he could spend the rest on a BB hit piece lmao. Incredible.

Jon Gruden got the best contract out of any head coach in the NFL.

I think it was probably your boy Tom Brady who made that call Colin. In a division with Andy Reid, Sean Payton, and Jim Harbaugh, you’re never winning that division with Antonio Pierce as your head coach.

1. Pierce should have been fired. Not giving Kingsbury the extra year was a mistake. There was also a Pierce-Daniels connection. 2. Imagine had McDaniels not left New England for Vegas? Mac J̌ones would have continued to progress, and we would have a different story today.

A better statement is, they should’ve never hired this coach then they wouldn’t have needed to fire him

Colin is right about the raiders owner problem but not for his reason, ap should never had been hire in the first place, he was hire because mark davis wants to be friends with the players, also his firing was bad, how you keep bñimd your gm on that decision if you are going to retain him, not to mention letting him doing a press conference just to fire him hours later
@marioarroyo97129 сағат бұрын
Colin said AP was a former Raider, that’s false. Also tho, Gruden was not Mark Davis fault

Kraft had the coach in waiting and he made it one year! Browns made the play-offs and the team fell apart when they announced they were moving.
