Almost got talked out of hiring Belichek. Brady didn't get taken til the sixth round. Edelman got picked in the seventh round. Multiple players whose careers were resurrected. Accused of this.... accused of that.... yet they keep winning. I find the Patriots most compelling.

critical of Spygate? please!!! Spygate was about taping from a specific location that no longer allowed. Taping is still allowed, btw. The rule was changed without going through the rules committee...the NFL did not even go through their own proper procedures to change its own rule...

Seriously that rule is dumb. You can video tape when you're in the box and not any where else? What freakin difference does it make? I guess the NFL is not aware of long range telephoto lenses. It's like signal stealing but with better technology. If the colts signal steal then right it in paper, what's the difference when the pats use a camera. And some people are still using spygate against Belichick. I'm pretty sure that most teams are signal stealing

@@pinoytambayan3545 That's right, and the rule was ambiguous which is why Belichick didn't think he was violating the rule. The rule stated "you can't film from the field for USE DURING the game", Belichick interpreted this as you can film, but cannot use the film during the game for in game adjustments.

I grew up a Patriots fan in the 70's with Grogan and Darryl Stingley, Sam Bam Cunningham, and John Hannah. All through the 80's with HOF Andre Tippet, Ronnie Lippet, Craig James, Tony Eason, Steve Nelson, Roland James, barefoot kicker. The Drew Bledsoe 90's. I've earned the Robert K Kraft, Bill Belichick, Tom Brady wins. I've earned them. Americans hate the Patriots and they can lump it, take it down the street and dump it.

Just show you how poorly run the Browns are. You have a guy who never gave Belichick any talent around him whatsoever, and then they start off 3-1 in 1995, and then Modell announced he's moving the team. Like what do you think will happen when in the middle of a season, you announce your moving a team? That is one of the biggest distractions a team could ever have

I remember this vividly. It was early January 2000, and everyone in Mass/New England kind of lost interest in the fact we were looking for a new head coach. Pete Carroll LOST the locker room. Rumors flying were Dom Capers was set to be our new head coach because of the conversation between Art Blowdell and Mr Kraft. I guess Myra had mentioned Bill being loved by the Kraft's during his season with us in 1996, and the fact he was a "local" who went to Phillip Exeter academy. All in all....i think it turned out nicely for us.

what peter king forgot to mention was the conversation with Parcells. When Belichick resigned as H.C. of the NYJ :), Parcells figured belichick was going to foxborough. So parcells decided to call kraft. Had he not done that, along with fuckstick Modell telling Mr Kraft not to hire Bill, Robert would have hired Dom Capers.

Belichick in Cleveland... W=36 L=44 T= 0 1 playoff appearance, ZERO division titles. Belichick in New England, PRE Brady W= 5 L=13 T=0 ZERO playoff appearances. To assume Belichick is solely responsible for Brady's/ New England's success might be the dumbest statement in his history of mankind!
