I always liked Mountain Greenery. It’s the only song in the whole series that has Mickey and Minnie as the featured singers and it suits them just fine since they’re the only characters who appear in the series that are in a relationship. Embarrassingly, when I was younger, I thought they were brother and sister because they looked similar.

I love the Disney sing-along songs videos, in 1979 Disney came out with a vinyl record called Mickey Mouse disco and when I was a kid I had that record, why didn’t Disney come out with a sing-along video like that? That would’ve been really awesome.

With the exception of the Campout one, I grew up with the tapes featured here! Like I said in the comments of the last video, "Mickey's Beach Party" was my favorite, and the one I watched most often of this bunch, which is why I remember it more. That tape was actually my first introduction to Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, and I remember thinking it looked like so much fun and wanting to go there so badly. Now I'm an WDW Annual Passholder, so that dream has finally come true! The Campout tape looks cute too, I may have to give it a watch sometime.

More fun facts relating to Cam Clarke voicing Disney characters: He was brought on as Simba's singing voice in The Lion King 2, with Matthew Broderick still providing the speaking voice, but after that, when they couldn't get Matthew Broderick they'd just have Cam Clarke do the speaking voice as well.

I watched a lot of Kidsongs videos when I was younger, so I was excited when I saw a couple of the kids from the videos appear with the Disney characters like Michelle Montoya, Shira Roth, Christian Buenaventura, and Tiffany Burton! I think you should do a video about the Kidsongs series!

I remember myself being young and listening and dancing to "Make 'Em Laugh" from the Mickey's Fun Songs video "Let's Go to the Circus" on KZbin while dancing to a scene from a Charlie Brown VHS tape which was "She likes you, Charlie Brown" in another tab on my computer one hot and steamy summer day and thinking "It's only a show."

I think the Mickey’s Fun Songs series were likely an attempt to compete with Barney and Friends, due to the heavy use of child actors and public domain songs. Though the Haunted Mansion one is probably the most akin to Barney.

I saw Let's Go to the Circus late, that one's my favorite and I especially love the clowns, especially Huel Speight (he was the Black clown in the video who was juggling but one of the balls hit Donald on his beak)

I like the inclusion of the Country Bears in "Campout at Walt Disney World". I wish they'd thrown in a few more non-"Mickey's Gang" characters that would've fit the rustic forest-y theme, like the Brers and maybe Humphrey the Bear (do they even have a Humphrey costume?). I love your drawing of Liver Lips. Kinda disappointed they didn't work Dumbo into the "Let's Go to the Circus" tape. Ah well... I like how the parents of the kids in the "Beach Party at Walt Disney World" one are fine with Mickey basically abducting their kids at the beginning. Then again, why WOULDN'T they trust Mickey Mouse with their kids? My favorite part of "Beach Party" is Goofy's rendition of "Hot Hot Hot". I don't know why, but I find him and Donald singing the "Ole, ole, ole, ole..." part hilarious. I also love Captain Hook's dancing.

Nice. One of my favorite MFS videos is "Beach Party at Walt Disney World" where it stars a little 6-year-old girl named Caitlin Wachs. I think I'll keep an eye out for the lyric-less variations of the Mickey's Fun Songs series, as well as the other live-action Disney's Sing-Along Songs spin-offs, although we have the non-lyric variation of Pongo and Perdita. That's why it's not Mickey's Fun Songs' 30th anniversary without the non-lyric masters.

@@ColinLooksBack Actually, according to the Disney Wiki, both Circus AND Campout were released on the same day - February 2, 1994 - with Beach Party being released the following year. Personally, I think the kids who were in the Circus video are a little older in the Campout video, and by the time Beach Party was released, both Tiffany and Toby were a little MORE older than in the previous two installments, so you could say the videos were filmed a few or so years apart.

I really think Disney should reboot this show for Disney+. Since the characters can talk and hits like Frozen came out, I think it’s a great idea to bring this iconic series back for a new generation. They already did it with Legends of the Hidden Temple. Why not Mickey’s Fun Songs?

A lot of the campout songs had some really questionable origins, lol. I tried looking up more info to talk about them, but half of them originated as minstrel songs and I decided it was best to not go into their roots too deep as a result.
